Joyous July Pre- Primary: Adani DAV Public School: July 2014-15

Month of July started with lots of fun and energetic activities. Children were

enjoying doing all the activities with enthusiasm.

Activities:

Week – 1 Play with papers and Ice-cream sticks

1) Paper folding for Nursery:

Students learnt paper folding with the help of the teacher. Through this

activity their fine motor skills and eye-hand co-ordination has developed.

2) Ice-cream sticks pasting:

Through this activity children learnt to make different figures which helped

to develop their creativity and imagination.

Week – 2 Fun with pulses

1) Picking pulses:

This activity helped the children to develop their eye-hand co-ordination

as well as fine motor skills.

2) Pulses pasting:

Children enjoyed pasting varieties of pulses and identified the pulses. It

developed their fine as well as gross motor skills.

Week – 3 Magic with glass pyramids, wonderful use of string and ribbon

1) Pyramids:

It developed their eye-hand co-ordination and thinking ability.

3) String and ribbon:

Children learnt to make beautiful pictures with the help of strings. They

also learnt flower making by using colourful ribbons.

Week -4 Joy with vegetables

Through this activity they learnt how to use vegetables to

paint. It developed theircreativity and imagination skills.

Week – 5 Sand pasting

Children learn many sensory things like touch and feel. This activity

helped to develop their fine motor skills.
