1. Ibn Sad relayed in his Tabaqt, vol.6, p.280 that: AbdulHameed
bin AbdurRahmn
al-Himninformed us: from AbHaneefah from Hammd who said: I
informed
Ibrheem of the death of al-Hajjj. He made sujd and then I saw
him cry out of
happiness.Imm adh-Dhahabalso mentions the report in Siyar,
vol.4, p.524.
2. Ubaydullh bin Abdullh bin al-Husayn, Abul-Qsim al-Khafff,
well-known as Ibn an-
Naqeeb. Ibn Katheer mentioned him in al-Bidyah wan-Nihyah,
vol.12, p.20 saying: He
was from the Imms of the Sunnah, and when the news of the death
of Ibn al-
Muallim, a Shia faqeeh, reached him he made Sujd ush-Shukr to
Allh. Then
he sat for a while and said: I do not care for any time I die
after witnessing the
death of Ibn al-Muallim.
3. Imam adh-Dhahabstated in al-Ibar fKhabr man Ghabar, vol.2,
p.42 when discussing theevents of the year 332 AH: The caravans did
not perform Hajj due to the death of
the Qaramitah leader, the tyrant, AbTahir Sulaiman bin Ab Said
al-Jannab,2
who died in Ramadhan in Hajar (Bahrain) because of a smallpox
infection that

2[TN]: AbThir al-Janbwas from the heretical Qarmitah who
attacked the Kabah in 929 CE. Al-
Janb ordered his troops to kill pilgrims and dump their bodies
into the Zamzam Well. Al-Janb
then tore off the door of the Kabah and took the Black Stone and
took it to the region of al-Ahsin
Arabia. They kept it for twenty years until the Fatimid Shiites
ordered the Qarmitah to return it tothe Kabah.

killed him. May Allah not have mercy on his body even the size
of a needles
point.
4. When the news of the death of the deviant Bishr al-Marswas
announced in the market,
the people exclaimed: If this was not a place of publicity it
would be a place of
prostration and giving thanks to Allh! All praise is due to Allh
who brought
about his death Relayed in Trkh Baghdad, vol.7, p.66 and Lisn
ul-Mzn, vol.2,
p.308.
5. It was said to Imm Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Is a man sinful for
being joyous with what has
happened to Ibn Abi Duad? Imm Ahmad replied: Who is not joyous
with what has
happened to him?!3Al-Khalll, as-Sunnah, vol.5, p.121.
6. Salamah bin Shabeeb said: I was with AbdurRazzq as-Sann when
the news of
AbdulMajeed reached us. He said: All praise is due to Allh who
has brought ease
to the Ummah of Muhammad with the death of AbdulMajeed.

Siyar Alm un-Nubal, vol.9, p.435. AbdulMajeed is Ibn AbdulAzeez
ibn AbRawd, a
leader of irj.
7. When the news of the death of Wahb al-Qurash, a deviant and
head of misguidance,
reached AbdurRahmn bin Mahd, he said: All praise is due to Allh
who has
brought ease to the Muslims from him.Ibn Hajar, Lisn ul-Mzn,
vol.8, p.402.

Al-Hfidh Ibn Katheer stated about one of the heads of
misguidance and innovation inal-Bidyah wan-Nihyah, vol.12, p.338:
Allh brought ease to the Muslims with his
death in Dhul-Hijjah. He was buried in his home and then
transported to the
cemetery of the Quraysh, unto Allh is all praise and favour.
When he died Ahl
us-Sunnah were so happy and joyous, and they manifested their
thanks to Allh.
None of Ahl us-Sunnah could be found except that they were
praising Allh.
3Ibn AbDuad had been paralysed after suffering a stroke.
