Call For Papers Journal of Environmental Engineering Special Collection: Membrane bioreactor technology: Wastewater treatment, water reuse and nutrient recovery Aims & Scope This Special Collection will include contributions on fundamental and applied aspects of membrane bioreactors with specific emphases on MBR applications for water reuse and resource recovery. The Collection will aim to provide a balanced account of: Recent research advances in the MBR science and technology Practical limitations and coping strategies for MBR use in practice A comparative perspective on the use of MBRs in different environmental, economic and regulatory contexts Cross-disciplinary research on MBRs: Insights from genomics, fluid mechanics, virology, and other disciplines Wastewater as a resource: MBR-based solutions Novel MBR-based hybrid processes Energy efficiency of MBR operations Manuscript Submission Guidelines 1. Aims & Scope

This Special Collection will include contributions on fundamental and applied aspects of membrane bioreactors with specific emphases on MBR applications for water reuse and resource recovery. The Collection will aim to provide a balanced account of:

• Recent research advances in the MBR science and technology

• Practical limitations and coping strategies for MBR use in practice

• A comparative perspective on the use of MBRs in different environmental, economic and regulatory contexts
