• Work Experience is essential and something that is difficult to find upon leaving University.
• Placements or voluntary work is sometimes not enough to gain that first job.
• It shows a willingness to continue learning and enhance your career post University.
• To be Professional.

Ability to handle information, research, analyse, interpret,
ability to use the information.
Core Skills: Numeracy, Literacy, ICT, Communication, Speaking
to Large Groups.
Personal Characteristics: Motivation, Self-
Organisation, Creativity, Flexibility, Confidence.
Social Skills: Teamwork, Negotiation skills,
Helping and Supporting Others.
• Opened a range of avenues or pathways which I did not know existed.
• Gaining transferable skills which I can use in a considerable amount of jobs or careers in the future.
• To have built up a strong base of knowledge, experience and new contacts within the field of further and higher education.
Career
• To continue in the Marketing & Recruitment sector of Higher Education.
• At this University or another.

• To go on to do a Post Compulsory PGCE to teach Sport Science in Colleges.
