Financial Operations Nov 2012 – Feb 2014

Hired to assist the CEO with time sensitive projects and analysis that required strong business and financial acumen, knowledge of company systems, and being able to navigate the organization obtaining employee buy-in. Primary Challenge: We acquired an IT company the first month I was hired. The challenge was to create a smooth year one transition while also ramping up sales and operational efficiencies. This required deep understanding of financial and operational models so that results could be tracked, and also required understanding how the company culture would mesh with the new management company. Selected Results:

• Worked with both CEO’s to develop more sophisticated P&L statements, key metrics, and KPI’s to measure growth and efficiency.

• Consulted with minority owner and CEO of IT Company to develop service pricing strategies, new resale product launch strategies, and billing cycle strategies.

• Increased billability and billed hours by more than 25% through incentive plans, time tracking education, and timely reporting. • Built custom financial model to more accurately forecast revenue and cost which increased accountability.

Ozone Ministries – Camp Ozark Foundation Houston, TX 2008 – 2012 Camp Ozark is the largest single site summer camp in the nation. The foundation is controlled by Camp Ozark, and is a non-profit supporting non-denominational Christian youth ministries in Texas and Louisiana along with summer camp experiences for underprivileged inner-city youth.

Area Director – Houston Memorial Chapter (Flagship) 2010 – 2012 Directors are responsible for all day-to-day operations including programming, event planning, fundraising, business development, contract negotiation, and financial management of their chapter. Directors also join management team for Camp Ozark during summer months. Primary Challenge: Both previous Directors left simultaneously creating a strong need to come in and quickly maintain momentum and relationships previously built. Selected Results:

• Realized an increase of 45% in student involvement and 65% in fundraising revenue in less than two years. • Developed deeper relationships with local churches allowing more opportunities to host events and meetings at lower cost.
