Jordi Sierra i Fabra has been awarded with the prestigious Cervantes Prize for youngsters, most known as Cervantes Chico Award. The jury has highlighted his works’great importance, together with his commitment and has awarded him for being «a referent in current young adult literature, have the sympathy of young readers and them in the habit of reading». This is the 31st award that Jordi Sierra i Fabra receives, on the 40th anniversary of the publication of his first book. During these four decades of writing, he has sold more than ten million samples and has been translated to more than 30 languages.
