Joneien Johnson, the designer behind Joneien Leah was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Growing up, she has always known that she wanted to design clothing. What started as a hobby dressing Barbie in homemade couture fashions blossomed into an education at Iowa State University and fully bloomed while designing uniforms for Cintas, Corp. In October 2010 Joneien decided to make her dream become reality with much prayer and support from her family and the Joneien Leah Collection was launched.Joneien Leah is a collection of contemporary separates and dresses for the real petite woman. She is confident, chic, and proud of her feminine body. Joneien saw a need in the marketplace for designer petite clothing beyond the basics. As a curvy petite woman, she wanted to fill that gap.Joneien Leah is committed to keeping manufacturing in the U.S.A. and using local resources, services, and collaborating with Chicago’s talent. As a Chicago brand Joneien feel’s it is her responsibility to help grow the fashion industry right here at home
