    The Gillette Company, South Boston, MA April 2003 Present.Chief Architect and Manager of a team of data warehouse / data mart architects and team leadsresponsible for the architecture and offshore development of Value Chain and Gillette TechnicalManufacturing initiatives. The team is focused on delivering against a vision for a GlobalCustomer Driven Supply Networkfor five distinct Strategic Business Units. The teamconsistently delivered on our mission ofThe Best Gillette Can Getby designing applicationsthat are flexible, scalable, high performance and cost effective. The team has been highly effectivein its execution of the mission, successfully deploying over twenty-two business-driven datawarehouse and business intelligence solutions in twenty months.

    Technical Environment: SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW), APO-DP, APO-SNP, WAS,ITS, SAP SEM-BPS, SAP R/3 4.6c, Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i, BEX Analyzer, ArcPlan DynaSight

    EPC RFID Project Chief Architect responsible for the implementation of Gillettes RFIDreporting initiative. These innovations were recognized by the EPC Global organization asthe first consumer products manufacturer to link business content to EPC/RFID readinformation. This initiative allowed Gillette to track inventory and product movement from theGillette Distribution Centers throughout the distribution channel to the end customers receivingdock and back room. Reporting based on customer, order and delivery attributes.

    Supply Network Planning OEM Integration Project This strategic Supply Chain projectmade significant improvements to the SPR application that allowed Gillette to easily integrateOEMs into the APO SNP and reporting environments. External OEMs gained access to thereal-time dynamic product-level forecast for their products through web-based reports thatresulted in improvements in working capital yielding annual savings of $500,000.

    Supply Planning Reporting (SPR) Performance Project Followed the Six Sigmamethodology to define, measure, analyze, improve and control the delivery of SPR to ServiceLevel Agreements. The project was completed in 3 months using a single internal resourceinstead of outsourcing which resulted in one-time savings of $155,000. Once implemented, theinitiative delivered on-going cost avoidance of $240,000 per day and $30,000 per hour. As aresult of the performance improvements, NA Supply Planners were able to access the APOplanning application one additional hour per day which was an additional win.

    Global Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Project This high-profile project combined teamsfrom Kronberg, Germany and Boston to deliver a totally integrated (using R/3, APO and BW)closed loop VMI solution in real-time. Achieved annual revenue gains of $2MM.

    Global Procurement Reporting Projects Implemented four reporting projects to supportGillettes Global Procurement initiative utilizing a robust architecture that included fullintegration with SAPs Electronic Buyer Program (EBP) solution and SAPs SEM BPS tool forplanning, executing and monitoring Gillettes direct and indirect purchases globally. Upon fullrollout, the overall project is projected to yield $6.7MM in Procurement savings annually.

    Value Chain Projects Implemented numerous complex reporting applications to support: Global SKU Management integrated with SAP and Legacy system data Global Demand Planning - integrated with SAPs APO/DP solution European Customer-based Forecasting - integrated with SAPs APO/DP solution Flexible Supply Warehouse Re-configuration - integrated with SAPs APO/SNP solution Customer Service KPIs - integrated with SAP R/3 SD module and Brio front-end

    The Gillette Company, Woburn, MA January 2001 August 2002.Project Leader under contract for the Global Data Warehouse Orders Team responsible for theinbound Order and Delivery interfaces from four SAP R/3 instances, storage into a multi-terabyteOracle 8i Global Data Warehouse, and the outbound Order interfaces to Daily Sales Analysis andGlobal Sales Analysis Datamarts. This required a thorough knowledge of the SAP R/3 OrderProcessing and Distribution (S/D) process as defined at Gillette.

    Chief Architect and Project Team Lead for the successful implementation of four large-scaleProjects: Gross Sales Measure Project, Order and Delivery Reconciliation, Order and DeliveryResynchronization and Global Order Status Harmonization.

    Codman (a Johnson & Johnson Company), Raynham, MA January 1995 June 2000.Technical Architect and Project Manager responsible for a number of successful projects insupport of the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service organizations.

    Responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of systems integration and supportservices for four off-site Annual National Sales Meetings which provided hardware andsoftware upgrades and training for sales reps and management for their CRM application.Installed first Internet Information Server (IIS) in production at Codman.

    Drove the conception, architecture and successful rollout of Cognos PowerPlay Cubes forSales Analysis to the Marketing and Field Sales organizations. Directly responsible for allphases of the project from Vendor licensing negotiations, project budgeting and planning,as well as coordination of a diverse team of user and third-party IT resources.

    Nstar (formerly Boston Edison), Boston, MA March 1995 May 1996.Performed project management, system analysis, architecture and applications developmentservices in support of the Customer Service organization for this large utility.

    Responsible for the development and deployment of a new customer service application -

    from the concept and pilot stages through implementation into their production environmentutilizing a team of in-house developers and team members from the user community.

    Provided the technical expertise and mentoring skills necessary to lead the team to deliverthis unique application which integrated information from several legacy systems ondiverse platforms into a single client GUI front-end. This required diverse systemsintegration skills and thorough knowledge of a number of application developmentproducts. This integrated application provided the customer service reps with the ability torapidly check account-related and power network-related information to resolve the call asefficiently as possible.

    KeySpan (formerly Boston Gas), Boston, MA November 1988 December 1994.

    Principal architect and development coordinator of the Financial Engine a set offunctions and externally defined processing rules through which every financial transaction

    for the Gas Company passed. In use for over 15 years, this API ensured that financialintegrity was maintained both at the account and control group levels.

    Boston Brace, Inc., Avon, MA June 1995 April 1997. Established a partnership with this client to provide all day-to-day IT services. This

    engagement included design, installation and maintenance of their corporate LAN andWAN (nine sites) over frame relay and developing their in-house NT hosted web site.

    Designed, developed, and supported a mission-critical Cash Management system for theTreasury service area of this global holdings company.
