Title : Sikoses Year : 2010 Duration : 2:13 minutes Language : English Role : Co-Director / Animator / Sound Designer

Synopsis : An exploration of Travis Bickle’s psychosis, in a remix of Scorsese’s film. The film attempts to show the various stages of this process, starting with isolation, and then giving way to delusions and the questioning of reality, culminating finally in the psychosis itself. This is done through an abstract representation of our protagonist’s psyche.

Director : Using mainly After Effects for the animation segment, we set to depict and reinterpret the scene chosen from Taxi Driver (1976). Using basic geometric shapes for the entire treatment as a form of abstraction and process of breaking it down to the bare minimum.
