JOLT 2020 Teen Leadership Team Recruitment

Traditionally, the JOLT teen leadership team is selected at the time of the event for the following year. This year, we are looking to add a few additional team members to the current 2020 JOLT team.

If you’re interested in applying for one of the teen leadership positions, please closely follow the instructions outlined below. The JOLT leadership camp is excited to implement a few new changes this year. Before considering applying to be on the leadership team, please consider the following.

Qualifications of JOLT teen leadership team members:

▢ Must have attended JOLT at least once before ▢ Demonstrate a strong commitment to team responsibilities

▢ Be passionate about Arizona 4-H teen leadership

▢ Be a team player and collaboratively minded

Team member responsibilities:

▢ Attend all JOLT leadership team retreats (two in the spring – weekends TBD)

▢ Must attend JOLT Leadership Camp (July 13th – 17th) ▢ Be committed to advocating for JOLT teen leadership camp and AZ 4-H leadership opportunities

Please submit all of the required documents in complete form. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applications are due to the Arizona State 4-H Office by February 10th. Once all applications have been received, we will reach out to set up a brief digital interview via Zoom.

Video

The introductory video should be between one and two minutes. It should be a brief introduction to who you are, your 4-H experience, and why you would be a great member of the JOLT Teen Leadership Team. The video should be emailed with the application as a .mov or a .mp4 file.

Nomination Form In the spirit of how JOLT leadership team members are traditionally selected at camp, we require that each candidate receives a minimum of four peer signatures and one 4-H professional signature. Each of the four peer signatures must be from 4-H members who have attended JOLT at least once before.
