About TAS

The Association of Shalaki (TAS India) is registered, unique and active association of Ayurvedic specialists i.e. specialists of Shalakya Tantra of India. The Association is registered under the Society Registration Act 1860. To provide a common plate form to all shalakis to present their research work, their views and to get knowledge from other shalakis is main aim of association. To fulfil aims association had organized national, international conferences, workshops. More than 730 members are registered. There are five active state branches of association. Gujarat branch is one of them and

thactively working since 15 November 2009.TAS GSB organizes different programs regularly. This is the first national conference organized by state branch.

Shree Jogi Swami–SGVP Holistic Hospital (spread over in 1,50,000 sqft Area in 7 floors) is established in December 2017. Hospital offers Ayurveda, Yoga & Allopathic treatment Ayurvedic wellness centre, 20 dedicated Panchkarm rooms, Yoga & Meditation hall including ultramodern Infrastructure with ICU, 150 beds, ultra-modern modular O.T. with eminent team of dedicated Ayurveda Vaidyas, Yoga experts and learned allopathic doctors. SGVP holistic hospital was proudly awarded by Guinness Book of World Records for Shirodhara event in December 2016. 1120 people simultaneously participated in this record.

Drustkarma is one of the essential qualities required to become a good clinician. Our Acharya also believed that one cannot be a complete clinician until he has seen the treatments practically after learning theory. Shalakya is such a branch in which local therapeutic procedures contribute a major part for treating the disease. Practical demonstration of the procedures is need of the time. As we know that properly performed procedure makes a lot of difference in results. These procedures are being practised all over India, but variations are there in the method as per the region of the country. To maintain uniformity in the procedures Gujarat Branch of TAS India has organized a national conference 'PratyakshaShalakya - 2019'. All faculties of Shalakyatantra of Ayurved colleges affiliated to Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar have established and standardized the procedures as per classics and their experience and it has been published in form of book 'Standard Operative protocols of Shalakyatantra Karma'. To share the S.O.P. of all procedures with other Shalaki 'PratyakshaShalakya 2019' is being arranged in Ahmedabad in April-19. In the conference paper presentation sessions are also arranged. So we invite papers according to sub themes of conference from PG/PhD scholars, faculties, Practitioners, Researchers and others.

10. Paper should be computer-typed - MS Word – Font – Time New Roman (for English) Sanskrit 99 (for Devnagari) –Size 14, in A-4 sized paper, not more than 6 pages.

7. Paper should be in IMRaD format and Case study/Case study series should be as per CARE criteria.

4. Second page of paper should contain a certificate that the paper is neither presented nor published before anywhere with duly signed by first author.

8. Paper should be written either in English or in Hindi.

9. References should be mentioned at the end of the paper with respective numbers.
