D. Joint Los Angeles City/County Family Fitness Event (Rock N’ Stroll) The 2nd Annual Joint LA City/LA County Family Fitness Event (Rock N’ Stroll) will take place on September 21, 2019 in Griffith Park. The event is open to City and County employees and their families and is free of charge. Staff partnered with LA County last year to coordinate and support this event and will do so again in 2019. The four-hour annual event provides a full schedule of activities and booths (see right →) that support all four of the LIVEwell building blocks: Nutrition, Physical Activity, Stress Management, and Prevention. City staff will lead the 5K Fun Run while the County staff will lead the 2-mile walk and hiking group. The event will also include a DJ as well as a “Kids’ Game Zone” with games and prizes for children. City and County staff met on July 17 for an initial planning meeting and have scheduled a walkthrough of the Griffith Park event space to finalize the details of the event. merchandise for raffle prizes and promotional items for giveaways on the event date.

E. Wellness Services Administrator (Limeade) Implementation Update The new Wellness Services Administrator online member portal through Limeade, named LIVEwell.la was initially launched to a limited group of City employee volunteers in mid-July to test and ensure that the portal and its associated domains are accessible across all networks, email servers, and remote locations. This testing was completed successfully and the official launch of the LIVEwell.la portal for about 26,500 City employees covered under the LAwell Program is scheduled to go live on or around the week of August 5. As part of the communications plan to promote the launch of LIVEwell.la, an introductory brochure (Attachment E) providing an overview and highlights of the various features of the member portal is anticipated to be mailed to City employees during the week of August 5. This mailing will be accompanied shortly thereafter by a Citywide email (Attachment F) announcing the launch of LIVEwell.la. The campaign to encourage members to create accounts and actively engage with LIVEwell.la will be a permanent and ongoing mission for staff and Limeade’s onsite engagement specialists. Initial participation will create a baseline from which to establish goals for increasing participation and active engagement. Submitted by: _________________________________
