Testing Task Group Objectives

• To align testing requirements among states (via the IWG) and the Exchange to enable nationwide interoperability while minimizing market fragmentation.

• To assure that the testing guides are vetted and ready to be used for Exchange production testing process by 10/1/12.

Task Group Approach

• Phase 1:  Pilot Test Guides and Pilot– Step 1: Harmonize the Exchange and IWG test guides

• Joint Wiki Site - http://exchange-iwg.wikispaces.com/ • Review example Exchange test cases and IWG test specifications

– Step 2: Analyze test guides to refine scope, test coverage, etc.– Step 3: Develop SOAP UI test scripts– Step 4: Facilitate pilot test and capture feedback: August 2012
