One of the deliverables is an improved Late Jurassic – Early Cretaceous structural elements map of the Netherlands. The map shows structural highs (brown), basins (blue) and platform areas (green). A seismic velocity model for the entire Dutch on- and offshore TNO constructed a seismic velocity model “VELMOD” of the layer cake type based on the Lithostratigraphic Nomenclator and sonic data of 1400 boreholes Connectivity and Rock Typing prediction of Upper Carboniferous Reservoirs To increase production efficiency from deep Carboniferous gas reservoirs in the Southern North Sea, TNO develops a predictive model to assist the location and characterization of reservoir quality and connected net-volumes based on high resolution reservoir correlation, rocktyping and eco grouping.
