Joining a Community

Step1:Clickon“Communities”fromthemenuatthetopoftheNASPCommunitieshomepage,thenselect“AllCommunities”fromthedrop-downmenu.

Step2:Select“CommunitiesIcanjoin”fromtheseconddrop-downmenufromtheleft.

Step3:Youcannarrowdownthelistofcommunitieswhichyouareeligibletojoinbytype(ie.careerstages,diversitytopics,areasofinterest,leadershiponly)byselectingtherelevanttypefromthefirstdrop-downmenuontheleft.TheNASPMemberExchange(listedunder“AllMembers”inthedrop-down)isanopenforumthatyoualreadybelongtoasacurrentNASPmember.

Step4:Tojoinacommunity,clicktheblue“Join”buttontotherightofthecommunityname.

Step5:Selectyourpreferrede-mailnotificationssetting.Ifyouchooserealtime,youwillreceiveane-maileverytimesomeonepostsinthecommunity.Withdailydigest,youwillbesentonee-maileachmorningwiththepreviousday’sconversations.Clicktheblue“Yesjointhecommunity”button.

Thecommunityyouhavejustjoinedwillnowshowupunderthe“CommunitiestowhichIbelong”listonthe“AllCommunities”pagewithagreen“Enter”buttonwherethejoinbuttonwaspreviouslylocated.Itwillalsoappearinthelistofyourcommunitiesaccessiblefromyourprofilepage.
