Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is anonprofit 501(c)(3) education association with a quartermillion students preparing for careers in business and
business-related fields. The association has four divisions: • Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for high school
students; • FBLA-Middle Level for junior high, middle, and intermediate
school students; • Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) for postsecondary students; and • Professional Division for business people, FBLA-PBL alumni,
educators, and parents who support the goals of the association.
What is FBLA?
• Georgia FBLA is a nonprofit student organization committed to preparing today's students for success in business leadership.
• Georgia FBLA, the premiere organization for student leaders, is an affiliate of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. Georgia is also the largest FBLA chapter in the nation with over 27,000 members.
• FBLA is an important partner in the success of school-to-work programs, business education curriculums, and student leadership development.

• The President– Conducts meetings at appointed times.– Enforces rules of debate and decorum.– Expedites business.– Decides all questions of order.– Responds to valid inquiries of members.– Adjourns the meeting.– Appoint committee chairpersons.

• The Vice President– Assumes the duties of the President in the
absence of the President.– Plans the programs for the organization.

• The Secretary– Keeps an accurate record of the meetings
(minutes).– Prepares minutes of previous meeting.– Calls the roll at the meeting.

• The Treasurer– Keeps accurate financial records.– Reports the financial proceedings to the
membership.
• The Parliamentarian– Ensures that meetings are conducted in an
orderly fashion, according to Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised.

• The Reporter– Keeps the membership informed of chapter
activities (newsletter).– Informs the public of activities.
• The Historian– Keeps an up-to-date account of the chapter,
including the annual report of chapter activities, awards and publicity (scrapbook).

•Dress belt; Dress socks (not white)
•Official blue FBLA tie
