Day 1 | March 24, 2014: Chicago - Italy

Depart USA for your overnight flight to Rome. Dinner and breakfast will be

Day 2 | March 25, 2014: Arrive Rome Upon arrival your escort will warmly greet you this morning and welcome you

to Italy. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon for rest, relaxation, or

Day 3 | March 26, 2014: Rome (Papal Audience and Vatican Museum

Tour) Following breakfast, we will prepare for today, which we will have in our minds

for many years to come. We will make our way to St. Peter’s Square to attend

the Papal Audience, led by His Holiness, Pope Francis. (Papal Audience: Is

scheduled to take place every Wednesday, pending the schedule of Pope Fran-

cis) Following the audience, visit of the Vatican Museums, containing a group

of the most impressive edifices with hundreds of galleries filled with art treas-

ures. See awe-inspiring relics, and works of art donated throughout centuries as

tributes of faith. We'll cover The Tapestry Gallery, The Raphael Rooms and the

most overwhelming Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's Masterpiece, restored mural

of the Last Judgment. Later, enter the largest church in Christendom, St Peter's

Basilica, built on the site where St Peter was martyred. Unsurpassed in beauty, a

monument to the long history of the Catholic Church, to which pilgrims come

from around the world, St Peter's is the grandest of the world's churches. Marvel

Pieta and Bernini's amazing bronze canopy. Pope Francis visited the tomb of St.

Peter, following his elevation, for a visit of devotion that lasted 45 minutes. He

is the first Pontiff to visit the necropolis since extensive archaeological excava-

tions were conducted at the ancient site decades ago. We will also visit the tomb

of Pope John Paul II located at the Vatican. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 | March 27, 2014: Rome (Full Day of touring Christian Rome) Following breakfast, we will depart for a sightseeing tour entitled "Christian

Rome" which includes: the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the most important and

the oldest church dedicated to Our Lady. St. Mary Major contains a relic from

the manger of the infant Jesus. Next, the Basilica of St. John the Lateran, the

Pope’s cathedral church where relics of both Peter and Paul remain under the

main altar. It was here that Pope Francis was formally installed one year ago as

Bishop of Rome. Next we cross the street to see the Holy Staircase which is

believed to be a staircase from Pilate’s palace in Jerusalem and brought to Rome

by St. Helen in the 4th century. Time permitting we may climb the steps on our

knees in memory of Christ’s Passion. Stop for lunch, and then we will continue

on to visit St Paul. Outside the Walls, here we celebrate Mass. Continue our tour

via the Appian Way -- the oldest road from Roman times--plus the famous

Domino Quo Vadis Chapel; see the ancient Baths of Caracalla, Arch of Drusus;

Tomb of Celilia Metella, and the catacombs of St Callixtus where the early

Christians hid themselves to escape persecution. We will conclude the day by

visiting the famous, Trevi Fountain. Built in the 15th Century to mark the end-

ing destination of the Aqua Virgo (a manmade channel erected in 19 B.C. to

bring fresh water to Roman bathhouses.) The water comes from the Salone

Springs, eight miles outside of the city. Legend has it, by tossing a coin into the

fountain, it will guarantee a return trip to Rome. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 | March 28, 2014: Rome – Monte Cassino – San Giovanni Rotondo Following breakfast, we will head south and cross through the Roman country-

side with its villas and vineyards. During your drive, your tour escort will ex-

plain the spiritual, historical, and cultural overview of Italy, which will help to

orient you to this beautiful country and prepare you for all that you will experi-

ence in the days to follow. We stop at Montecassino, a beautiful town founded

by Saint Benedict in 529. Enjoy lunch and then continue through the country-

side heading east to Padre Pio’s town, San Giovanni Rotondo, our base for the

following two nights. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 | March 29, 2014: San Giovanni Rotondo - Monte Sant’ Angel (View

incorrupt body of Padre Pio)

After celebrating Mass at the tomb of Padre Pio, we tour the sanctuary, see the

old church and the crucifix from which he received the stigmata in 1918. You

will see the confessional where Padre Pio spent innumerable hours with a multi-

tude of pilgrims, directing them on their journey toward God. (We will have the

opportunity to view and pray before the incorrupt body of Padre Pio.) Enjoy a

breathtaking view of the Gargano Peninsula and a visit to the Grotto of Michael

the Archangel. Six different popes, St Francis and at least four other saints have

knelt in prayer at this grotto, seeking the protection of St Michael. Following

lunch, take in the panoramic view of the ocean and the surrounding countryside

awaits you at this most celebrated shrine of early Christianity, a shrine conse-

crated by St Michael himself in 490. Return to San Giovanni for devotions,

reflection, and a restful overnight.

Day 7 | March 30, 2014: San Giovanni Rotondo – Lanciano – Loreto –

Assisi We will have breakfast at our hotel before we make our way to Lanciano, and

visit the Church of St. Longinus where we will see the Eucharistic Miracle and

celebrate Mass. It was here, as they celebrated the Latin Rite, a Basilian hier-

omonk was assigned to celebrate Mass. The monk had doubts about the real

presense of Jesus Chris in the Holy Eucharist. With doubt in his voice, he said

the “Words of Consecration” and the bread turned into living flesh, and the wine

changed into live blood. The blood coagulated into five globules, corresponding

to the wounds Christ suffered in each hand and foot on the cross, and the wound

from the centurion’s spear. After free time for lunch, we will continue on toward

the Adriatic coast to the great Marian shrine of Loreto to visit the Holy House of

Nazareth and the beautiful Madonna of Loreto. More than 50 popes have made a

pilgrimage to the house transported by angels to this hill in central Italy in 1294.

Tradition has it that this is the house in which Mary first prayed the Magnificat,

in which Jesus grew to manhood, and in which the Holy Family lived. Enjoy

lunch before we make our way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis, the pa-

tron saint of

animals and the environment, and the founder of the Franciscan Order. We ar-

rive in time for dinner at our hotel.

Day 8 | March 31, 2014: Assisi (The Life of a Saint, that inspired a Holy

Father)

Today is a very special day, as we will spend a full day touring the home of the

Saint that inspired our Holy Father. Pope Francis chose his name in admiration

of the Saint of Nature and Servant to the Poor. Known for being a humble man

himself, Pope Francis spent most of his life denying the luxuries of life, and

preferring to live in simplicity and humility. Following breakfast, we will begin

a tour of Assisi. Visit the tomb of St Francis. Explore the quaint hilltop birth-

place of St Francis that still retains something of the atmosphere of the early

1200s, the period when St Francis began his ministry. Contained within the huge

13th-century Basilica are many of the saint's possessions and a series of frescoes

depicting his life. You may kneel before the crucifix from which Jesus spoke to

St Francis, asking him to rebuild His church. It was in St Mary of the Angels

Basilica where St Francis spent most of his life. Here we visit the Chapel, Porti-

uncola, the rose bush, and the cave where the saint retired for prayer. Stroll the

medieval streets of the compact little town. You will have some free time to

shop or eat lunch at an outdoor cafe with a view of an ancient Roman temple,

we go to the Church of St. Clare to see the saint's incorrupt body. The foundress

of the Order of Poor Clares followed the teachings of St Francis by living a life

of poverty and humility. We will visit these two saints' tombs before dinner and

retiring for the evening.

Day 9 | April 1, 2014: Assisi – Siena - Assisi After breakfast we will head south to Siena, the birthplace of Saints Catherine

(Doctor of the Church, and one of the two patron Saints of Italy, with St. Francis

of Assisi) and Bernardine (known as the “Apostle of Italy” for his efforts to

revive the Catholic faith in the 15th century). Siena is also one of Italy’s loveli-

est medieval cities. Here we will stroll the Piazza Del Campo, one of Italy’s

finest squares and visit the Cathedral and the Basilica of St. Francis, containing

the miraculous consecrated hosts that remained intact since 1730. After lunch,

we will continue on to view the incorrupt head of St. Catherine at the Basilica of

St. Dominic (Her body is preserved in Rome in the Basilica St. Maria sopra

Minerva). We travel back to Assisi for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 | April 2, 2014: Rome– Chicago After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we leave by motor coach for

Rome Airport for return flights home.

Registrations are due 95 days prior to departure. Full payment is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If a booking is made within 60 days of departure,

incur usual penalties. FINAL DOCUMENTS Final documents are issued upon receipt of final payment only and within 3 weeks of departure. Documents are not guaran-

teed if final payment is not received on time. Upon receipt of your docu-ments you are responsible to check your itinerary, spelling of your name,

PARTICIPATION 206 Tours and suppliers contracted for services reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain any person whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operations of a tour, or adversely affect the

enjoyment or safety of other passengers. 206 Tours, its agents, and suppliers shall be under no liability to any such person for refund, compensation,

repatriation or any other matters arising. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS Once a deposit or partial/full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing.

Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancel-lation is received. In addition to a $300 per person administration fee, the following charges apply if a cancellation is made before departure (per

person of total tour price): 60 - 46 days prior to departure 10%

45 - 21 days prior to departure 50% 20 - 03 days prior to departure 80% 02 days prior to departure or less no refund

Additionally, once tickets are issued (approximately 4-6 weeks prior to departure) the ticket value is non-refundable. Requests for a refund must be

in writing (mail, fax or e-mail). Phone calls can not be used as a form of

cancellation. It is the individual’s responsibility to confirm 206 Tours' receipt of cancellations regardless of their form. Refunds will be issued within 30 to 60 days of receipt and pending return of airline tickets and receipt of written

notice of cancellation. Refunds for payments made by credit card are subject to an additional 3.5% fee. No change of names or substitutions are permitted.

No refund or cancellation fees will be waived due to death or sickness. EXTENDED CANCELLATION PROTECTION PLAN 206 Tours offers an optional additional protection plan for $299 which permits travelers

to cancel for any reason up until the day prior to departure without penalty. You MUST file a claim with our travel insurance provider if you cancel your reservation, and if you are denied reimbursement from Travel for any

reason 206 Tours will refund your losses in cash in full (not including the insurance and cancel protection premiums). You MUST select this option at

the time of booking and it must be paid with your deposit. You MUST purchase standard travel insurance in order to purchase the cancel for any reason protection plan (unless you are a NY resident). Claims MUST be

filed NO LATER than six (6) months after initial cancellation. After six months, no reimbursement can be provided. AIR TRANSPORTATION Air transportation is in economy class on

IATA-approved carriers. Ticketing must be completed no later than 14 days prior to departure. Fares are based on levels in effect at the time of printing

and prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. All travel is subject to the airlines terms of carriage. 206 Tours is not responsible for any cancellations, loss, delays, injury, illness, or expenses incurred due to actions

made by the airlines. Business class is available at additional cost for Trans-Atlantic portions of your ticket. For any issues which arise in relation to airline service complaints and compensation should be addressed to the

carrier.

SEAT ASSIGNMENT Random seats are assigned for all group participants. If you would like to secure a specific seat, or sit with a travel companion please advise us of such request at the time of

booking, we will make an effort to accommodate you, however we cannot guarantee. If you must have specific seat we recommend you to

be at the airport at least three hours prior to departure and arrange the seat assignment with your airline's gate agent. Bulkhead and exit row seating can never be requested prior to the day of departure. 206 Tours

can never guarantee specific seats, which are at the discretion of the airline & are pending availability, subject to seat map changes LAND ONLY Transfers are NOT included in Land Only costs.

From time to time, a tour may be canceled due to non-materialization. If you chose to purchase a Land Only package and arrange your own

domestic or international flight independently of us, be advised that 206 Tours is not responsible for domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind. Booked or purchased items outside of 206tours

are sole responsibility of client. TRANSFERS Our programs include group round-trip transfers. Pilgrims or passengers who did not purchase "all-inclusive tour" or

who purchased land only package and are arriving or leaving inde-pendently must transfer at their own expense. Expenses incurred for

transfers due to lateness of flights are at the expense of the passenger and may be claimed for reimbursement from the airlines. No smoking is allowed on motor coach.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS Hotel accommodations are based on twin-bedded or double rooms. 206 Tours reserves the right to substitute similar category hotels without prior notice. In some hotels

triple accommodation is possible, however, no reduction in cost is available for triple rooms. A limited number of single rooms are also available at a supplemental rate.

PRIVATE ROOMS and SINGLE SUPPLEMENT A limited number of single rooms is available (on request basis only) at the

supplement price. Single rooms provide privacy, but they are in some hotels smaller than twin or double rooms and sometimes may be poorly located, especially in the older hotels. As a general ratio we are

able to confirm 10% of the total number of group participants in single rooms. If ratio is higher special supplements may be implemented for something referred to "single in double room" at an additional rate to

the single supplement rate listed. If passengers are traveling alone and wish to have 206 Tours assign a roommate we will do our best, how-

ever, if we do not succeed in assigning a same sex roommate for you then you will be responsible to pay the cost of the single room. MEALS Most trips includes two meals per day (breakfast and

dinners) which are served at your hotel or local restaurants. Beverages are not included with dinners where not indicated. In case you chose not to have a meal, there is no refund for unused meals. Although we

cannot guarantee, we will try and accommodate each special meal request on flights as well as at hotels. Please advise of such a request at the time of booking. We can not guarantee that special meal/diet

requests can be met. BAGGAGE Each tour participant is permitted to bring one checked suitcase, one small carry on bag, and one personal

item (i.e. purse, laptop case). In general, the airlines permit 1 checked bag. Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances. 206 Tours is not responsible for the loss of, theft

of, delay, or damage to a participant's belongings. RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE 206 Tours acts as a tour operator. The suppliers providing transportation, sightseeing arrangements and

hotel accommodations for the tour program are independent contrac-tors and are not agents or employees of 206 Tours. All coupons,

receipts and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions specified by suppliers. By utilizing the service of the suppliers, you agree that 206 Tours will not be liable for any change in flight or

itinerary schedule, strikes, delay, acts of governments, fires, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, accident, loss, injury, or damage to you or to those traveling with you

in connection with any accommodations, transportation or any other services or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its control, including defects in vehicles, break-down in equipment, thefts, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary for any act, omission, or event during the time you are on

board the aircraft. Neither 206 Tours and/or agents of the airlines concerned are to be held responsible for the late arrival of passengers

at airports or hotels due to inclement weather, nor are they to be held

liable for payment or any refund for transfers or unused hotel accom-modations or meals occasioned by such late arrivals at the hotels holding rooms as confirmed itineraries. Passengers must bear all such

losses or expenses. To guard against unforeseen health or other cir-cumstances, we recommend you purchase our optional travel insur-

ance. 206 Tours is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control. In circumstances where trip cancellations resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancellations due to

acts of war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes place, 206 Tours is not liable for restitution. Though every effort will be made to follow the itinerary, it should be considered as an indication of the

tour, rather than a contract of places to be visited. Occasionally local religious holidays, national days, traffic conditions and other events

may necessitate changes in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visits. We will have daily mass and strive to be in places as indicated. However, sometimes this is not possible as the site may not

be available for Mass or itinerary changes are forced upon us. In this case an alternative site for Mass will be arranged. SPECIAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS You must report any disabil-

individuals are limited. Most transportation services, including the

touring motor coaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to any tour participant for walking, dining, while in their room, on flight, getting on

and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion(s) must accompany travelers

who need special assistance. It is the passenger's responsibility to arrange for such assistance prior to making their reservations. Motorized scooters are unsuitable and impossible to accommodate. 206 Tours is not respon-

sible for any medical condition that occurs prior, during or after the tour. Additionally, airlines are not able to guarantee or provide assistance for disabled travelers including special seating. Pregnancy, Breast-Feeding,

and Traveling Pregnant women considering international travel should be advised to evaluate the potential problems associated with international

travel as well as the quality of medical care available at the destination and during transit. A pregnant woman is advised to travel with at least one companion; during her pregnancy, her level of comfort may be

adversely affected by traveling. YOUNG TRAVELERS Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult. Due to heightened

security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than

the parents or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parents or non-traveling parent granting authoriza-tion to travel including the dates of travel. We also suggest you contact

the appropriate consulate and airlines because they may have additional requirements. For the purposes of 206 Tours trips an infant is defined as anyone who is under the age of 24 months for the entire duration of their

trip. A child is defined as any one between the ages of 24 months-11 years for the entire duration of their trip. SAFETY Please be aware that during your participation on tours

operated by 206 Tours, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undevel-

oped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities.

206 Tours does not have liability regarding provisions of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. 206 Tours is not responsi-ble for compensation for cities/sites omitted from the itinerary due to

circumstances beyond it's control. PHYSICALITY OF OUR TOURS Please note that almost all destina-

tions serviced by 206 Tours require physical fitness and a lot of walking, sometimes up/or down the hills and at times very rough terrain. You may certainly stay behind for certain parts of the journey, however, it is

suggested that 3 to 4 weeks before your departure one should begin preparing physically begin walking "briskly" 1-2 times a day; build up to 2-3 miles with no discomfort.

SERVICE INQUIRIES AFTER THE TRIP If upon returning from your trip, you wish to inquire about any services provided, please ensure that all correspondence is received by 206 Tours, 333 Marcus Blvd -

Hauppauge, NY 11788, within 45 days of the tour completion date. This will enable us to make a timely investigation.

TOUR CANCELLATION BY OPERATOR Be clearly advised that from time to time a tour departure may be cancelled due to lack of participation. In such case, the operator's sole responsibility is to provide

a full refund. 206 Tours in not responsible and does not assume responsi-bility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and /or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not made through 206

Tours. Cancellations due to state travel advisories and/or state travel warnings, Acts of War, War, Terrorism, Acts of God, Natural Disaster or

any other circumstance outside the control of 206 Tours, are not the fault of 206 Tours. Great effort will be made to accommodate traveler to another trip or to revise itinerary, however, cancellation for any of these
