Two hemi-anechoic chambers used for testing water cooled chillers• Laboratory Specifications:

• Large Hemi-Anechoic room:• Volume: 41,000 cu-ft.• 3000 TR loading capability• Door clearance: 18’ wide x 16’ high.• Room floating on 41 ½” static deflection isolators.• 1.7 million pound building weight.• Room Qualification to 50 Hz.

• Small Hemi Anechoic Room:• Volume: 18,000 cu-ft.• 400 TR loading capability

• Mechanical Support Equipment Isolation.• Special capability:

Air-handling unit testingLaboratory Specifications:

Reverberation room: Volume: 105,000 cu-ft.

Apertures: 12’ x 12’ and 8’ x 8’ (for duct connections).

Door clearance: 14’ wide x 14’ high (for casing radiated sound).

Silencers sized to pass air through the Rev. Rm. (< 0.2 iwg pressure at 100,000 cfm).

Analyzer with dual rotating microphone booms for sound measurement.

Code Testers: 100,000 cfm code tester, rated at 9 iwg, turn-down to 10% of flow.
