It also ensured that the welders hired for production were appropriately qualified and adhering to the policies & procedures in accordance with code. I commenced this project initially on my own until I was satisfied that I had all the requirements and procedures in place. I then participated in the recruitment of the QC staff team and subsequently went on to deliver their on site training and supervision. Our recent ABSA audit has proven that the department is achieving its aims & goals as we scored 99.3%. Prior to the development of the department the result was 66%. Since my arrival in Canada in 2012 I have worked hard and studied to attain my, Redseal Welding Certificate ( Alberta Journeyman ) CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Level 1 Inspection B31.3 CSWIP 3.1 Level 2 Welding Inspector

I have been living & working in Canada since 2012 and was employed at Alstar to facilitate & implement a Quality Control Department on site. Additional Information I am very self­motivated but also work well in a team. My main attributes are hard work, honesty and loyalty. I am experienced in TIG, MIG and MMA welding processes. I have worked in workshops as well as on site (nuclear, petro/chem., gas and coal power stations). I also have experience as a fabricator/welder. I have experience on pipework, pressure vessels, storage tanks as well as heavy structural steelwork to a very high standard which includes 100% x­ray, MPI, dye pen and ultrasound NDT.
