The retreats are held in Blackall, Central Western Queensland, and offer you an all encompassing experience; the art, the colour, the texture, the taste and the heart of the Outback all being the very best we have to offer. “Out There… with John Wilson” is our only oil retreat for this year and runs from Wednesday 17th June through to Sunday 21st June 2020. It now provides accommodation,catering facilities andworkshop spaceunder one roof for art& craftworkshops,Retreatsandmuchmore.Split systems forcoolingandheatingare in theworkshoprooms, kitchenandallbedrooms.Alllinenandbeddingisprovided.Wesuggestthatyoupackyourclothingaccordingly.Optingfor layersofclothingwouldbeideal as thedayscan sometimesbequitewarm, and the temperaturecandropas thesungoesdown.Wealsosuggest youbringcomfortableshoes, suitable forprolongeddays andwalkingshortdistancesduringexcursions.TheLivingArtsCentredoesofferWiFiatacostof$10forthe5days.Thereisgoodmobilephone reception in town, but this is limited tomobiles connected to Telstra.
