Los Angeles is the second largest city of the United States in terms of population

and one of the major economic, cultural and

scientific entertainment resorts in the world. Located on the west coast of

the USA, in the state of California. It has

3,850,000 inhabitants according to 2006

assessment and area 1,214.9 square

kilometers.

HOLLYWOODHollywood is a district of the city of

Los Angeles in the state of California . Due to its fame and

identity as the historical center of movie studios , the word " Hollywood " is often used as a synonym for the

American film industry and television .

Many historic Hollywood theaters are used for several movie premieres and other performances . It is a

popular destination for good nightlife and tourism , and also there is the

Walk of Fame in Hollywood . It is the way in which the pavement is

decorated with 2309 stars on which the names of well known celebrities

of cinema.The area's population is estimated to

be 300,000.
