United States Coast Guard Veteran

Earned a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of California and taught their

State Senator for six years in Utah

Job History

Teaching at various colleges in Utah, California and in Michigan

President of different Universities

Chairman of the Board for Borgess Health Alliance

Forester (enjoyed backpacking)

Achievements at WMUPresident from 1974-1985Taught for 5 years after retiring at WMUWorked with the Kalamazoo Symphony and the Civic Encouraged financial integrity

Instrumental in raising funds for the John E. Fetzer Center
