The JMH Hall of Fame Committee, along with the JMH Alumni Association will be commemorating the Fifty Year Anniversary of the 1959 and 1960’s Sports Teams, including the City Football Championships. A tentative date for the celebration is Friday, May 1, 2009. The committee is working on finalizing the de-tails for the large celebration party. Those of you that played sports or attended JMH in the late 50’s and early 60’s will want to attend this event. This invitation includes all Alumnus of JMH, along with the faculty and staff, both current and past. Our City Championship story was a tremendous accomplishment for a school known more for its academic achievements, than for being a football powerhouse. This was a marvelous time for ALL JMH sports, as we had many other great teams during this period. We also had one of the best Marching Bands in the state. It is fitting that we honor all of these people once again. Please contact the Alumni Association if you were a member of any of the 1959 or 1960 teams or use the check off box on page 23 of the newsletter, to receive further information. We would love to have you share your memories and pictures. Please plan to attend this gala event. Our website: www.jmhalumni.com Contact: Andy Mathews at 440-572-7685
