Trading smaller accounts and the process of building wealth through trading


Trading was much more difficult that I was lead to believe

It became obvious my mentors either didn’t live trade or live traded with poor results

I stopped mentoring, advisory services and trading groups

Early Challenges


Find people extremely successful in the field you are trying to master

Figure out what specifically makes them successful

Model and replicate the process

I found that success had very little to do with the trading system or style

◦ Believed and trusted that things will get better

◦ Made plans, practiced plans, executed plans and then evaluated and improved both their performance and their plans

What did I find?


I applied what I learned and incorporated it into my own trading systems

I was not trying to create “a trade” but rather a set of principles and ideals that others have used and I could follow to become an extremely successful trader

You really need to figure out exactly what you’re trying to accomplish. See if it is reasonable by finding someone who is achieving similar results and then look for or create a system to do it.

This will narrow down your choices so you can focus on what matters
