John founded the firm DG Jones & Partners Japan in 1985, and was the Principle, responsible for Management
of the Tokyo office until it merged to form Davis Langdon & Seah Japan. John has been actively involved in
the Project Management and Cost Control of over 250 projects in Tokyo.

1988-1989 EC Executive Training Programme Japanese language course.
1983-1988 Retained by Japanese Architect Kisho Kurokawa, for all overseas projects. Introduced Quantity
Surveying and Project Management Services to all sectors of the Japanese construction industry.
1981-1983 Seconded to Kisho Kurokawa Architects and Consultants in Tokyo to coordinate the production
of contract documents for a multi-million dollar project in Libya.
