Hoping to be able to participate in the 50-Years Hohenlehen Meeting I hesitated to cancel until today (3.7.11). But as guests from abroad will visit me beginning August, unfortunately it is not possible. I really regret very much.

Since about 44 years married to Margarete, teacher at the Federal Institute for Deafs, actually housekeeping.

Hobbies: 1) country / people / arts / culture: Aegean area, Siberia, Central Asia including Mongolia 2.) Mountaineering, sports with huskies and horses 3.) Life in a mountain village (1250 m) at Zirbitzkogel

In our common domestic home live besides my wife and me 3 safed cats (Amadeus, Daphni, Böacky) and one Siberian husky, whom I rescued from a Portuguese killing station, 2 Haflinger horses, rescued as well, are accomodated in vicinity.

From some foreign universities I have invitations to hold courses / seminars, but at present I would like to have some „private life“ (for reading, writing, painting).

Moreover I should decide for an operation of a hip.
