The best Christmas gifts we could ask for ! Each year Christmas brings us to a renewed sense of admiration and appreciation for the great redemptive work that God brought through the birth of His son, Jesus Christ. And this year, it is a very special Christmas for two French people : Jonathan and Claire. It is the first Christmas they will fully understand. The first Christmas that their hearts will want to worship God for the salvation he offered us in Jesus-Christ. What a miracle to see French people who were Atheists, Agnostics… turning to Jesus and worshipping him. Jonathan’s story
When we met Jonathan, he didn’t know the difference between Jesus and Moses, as he said himself. But funny thing, thanks to the show "The little house in the prairie" he watched when he was a kid, he had a good image of Christians. So he was excited to spend time with us and start a discussion group. He thought the Bible had probably been modified through the centuries. And he also wasn’t sure what to think about the acts of violence and terrorism religious people have done. After several discussions, he started to be very touched by the message of the gospel. And recently, he gave his life to the Lord. Praise God! (He is in middle of the picture on the left).

Praise items � We’re thankful for the 10 JPense (I think about it) events we had during these 2 years and especially for the fact that over 600 people heard the gospel for the first time. � Just before we left France we were able to organized the Jcrois (I believe it) conference for Christians and a training for people who want to start discussion groups. We are excited to see French Christians being trained and motived to share the gospel with their people. Prayer requests � Here are a few names of people we are in contact with and who need salvation: Alex, Priscilla, Romain, Fanny, Mickaël, Thomas, Annaëlle, Simon, Augustin, Florian, Yann, Mayrilène, Matthieu, Tinia, Jeanne, Audrey, Bastien.
Claire’s story
After coming to JPense events for about a year, Claire (who is on the left of the picture) also signed up for the discussion groups we offered. After a discussion group she chocked her parents at the dinner table when she said "Do you realize Jesus died on the cross for our sins?" She was starting to realize what Jesus did for her. Like Jonathan, she recently asked for the Lord’s forgiveness and decided to follow Him. Her first reaction after this decision was: "if French people knew about the Gospel, I'm sure many would follow Jesus". That is exactly what we believe! We love how mission minded she is already.
End of our two years internship
We arrived at the end of our two years internship with the FWB International Missions. It is with a thankful heart that we look back at these two years because we had the incredible privilege to see people turn to Jesus and met and started to love more people who need the Lord. Back to the States for a year
We arrived in the States on November 27th and are based in OK for the moment. The Free Will Baptist International Missions Board accepted to extend our internship so we can meet the educational requirements for career service that we seek. So we have some studies to do this year as well as visiting churches. Our two little girls adjusted well. Here is a picture of their first day at their learning center. Visiting you ? Several of you have asked for a report of these 2 years and we are excited to do it. We would love to share with you or you church. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
As we look back on these two years, the most important thing that we wanted to tell you is Thank You from the bottom of our hearts! May God richly bless you just as you have so richly blessed us through your prayers and support in our joint efforts to fulfill the great commission. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
