What is tea?A plant called Camellia Sinensis produces the leaves and buds that are commonly known as tea, the most common beverage in the world, second only to water. Although Camellia Sinensis bushes can live for more than a hundred years, harvesting leaves and buds from smaller, younger bushes is easier.

Interesting Facts about tea• If you leave a cooled bag of tea on a wart for about 15

minutes three times daily, then slowly the wart will shrink and disappear.

• Asian countries that drink green tea have very low instances of prostate cancer.

• The most expensive teabag that was ever created was for the 75th anniversary of the PG TIPS tea company. The bag was filled with two hundred and eighty diamonds and expensive limited edition tea leaves.

• Men who drink black tea which contains catechins are 50 percent less likely to die of heart disease. 

• Tea was made nearly 5,000 years ago!• The three main types of tea are Black, Oolong and

green tea.

Who made tea?Legend has it that the first cup of tea was brewed in 2737 B.C. when dried leaves landed in a boiling cup of water served to the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung. From China, the idea of "tea" spread throughout the world. Today, iced tea is approximately 80% of the 140 million cups of tea drank every day by Americans. Tea can also be used to stain fabric. Tea is one of the four most common sources of caffeine for Americans.

My OpinionMy favorite tea is mint tea. I recommend you to try tasting the delicious mint tea. Tea is good for your heart and doctors in China used tea for medicine! Tea is the best beverage that I ever tried!! I like it because when you have a sore throat mint tea can help it go away.
