The New Mexico Finance Authority (Santa Fe, NM) is seeking qualifiedapplicants for a Commercial Lender that will report to the Director of CommercialLending. This new position will actively market NMFA programs to bankers,economic developers and other stakeholders statewide. With the assistanceof the Commercial Credit Analyst, the Commercial Lender will be responsiblefor the analysis, underwriting and structuring of loan requests, makingrecommendations/decisions regarding the extension of credit, monitoringborrowers and loan portfolios in order to maximize credit quality and minimizerisk and potential loss.
Preferred Skills/Experience:The successful candidate will demonstrate considerable experience inmarketing and underwriting commercial loans; an extensive knowledge of creditadministration policy and procedures and a thorough knowledge of economics,accounting, finance and risk analysis. Excellent technical report writing, verbaland written communication skills are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree plus at least 6 years of commercial lending experience isrequired; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
