Job Title: Strategic Partner Manager (Round Rock, TX) Department: Sales Reports To: EVP, Sales and Marketing FLSA Status: Exempt

SUMMARY:

The Strategic Partner Manager owns the overall strategic relationship with TSS designated global partners. The Strategic Partner Manager manages the existing business relationship and aggressively looks for new avenues and areas to promote and sell TSS services and products through the partner organization. The Strategic Partner Manager accomplishes this through the development of a global account strategy utilizing direct and indirect relationships throughout the partner organization The positions manages a team of Account Executives that identifies, qualifies, develops, negotiate and close business within the partner organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish senior management relationships within partner organization to sustain, build and evolve TSS’s solutions as strategic and recognized as a key component to the success of the partner organization.

Develop a global strategy, mapping out growth opportunities identified, perceived to exist and assumed to be developed in close collaboration with senior management within the partner organization.

Thoroughly document the structure, value generators, cost drivers and business drivers of the partner organization to be presented to executive management at TSS. Clarify how TSS solutions and services positively impact these drivers.

Establish close collaboration between all functional units within TSS to ensure broad understanding and buy in of the partner strategy.

Aided by Account Executives, identify, qualify, develop, negotiate and close business opportunities within the partner organization.

Develop content and actively participate in evangelizing and training partner teams on TSS offerings.

Create, document and report meaningful metrics with measurable goals to company peers and executive management on a regular basis.

Effectively negotiate and formulate high-level million dollar deal structures collaborating with Operations, Finance and Executive Management throughout the process.

Frequently engage with Executive Management on development, execution and status of strategy and tactical plans and works collaboratively to identify and evaluate targets and efficiently assimilates within organization.

Manages, monitors and analyzes pipeline growth and pipeline activity to ensure bookings goals and quotas are met.

Motivate, train, recruit and manage Account Executives directly reporting to this position. EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

5+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in a partner management sales role.

Intimate knowledge of mission critical infrastructure projects and facilities.

Familiar with design/build industry and front end engagement of clients and influencers.

Familiar with rack and stack, asset tagging, imaging and other rack level integration services.

Familiar with facility management business and ongoing maintenance contracts.

High level understanding of construction management business and front end engagement of clients and influencers.

Proven track record of identifying, qualifying and engaging directly with large mission critical clients.

Strong presentation, communication, engagement and collaboration skills that can flex from C-levels to engineer-level.

Strong negotiation skills and financial/business acumen.

Track record of engaging and partnering with local communities to create presence.

Intimate knowledge of the competitive landscape in the mission critical industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with people and on projects to attain and grow accounts and meet the needs of the business.

Past experience working in a high-intensity, fast paced environment with ability to self-manage priorities and objectives.

Ability to partner effectively with internal and external resources to effectively increase market share and exceed revenue.

Creative thinking is required to convey value proposition and influence clients and associated parties.

Innovative, passionate and driven individual with a strong desire to aggressively grow and expand the business in exchange for meaningful compensation.

Salesforce experience ideal.

BS or BA in Engineering, Business, or closely related field, required.

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Uses personal computer approximately 4-5 hours per day.

Uses telephone and email to communicate with customers/clients, co-workers, management, etc. approximately 6-8 hours per day.

Sits approximately 4-6 hours per day.

Approximately 50% - 75% travel.
