Distributes and directs financial assistance application when applicable. Serves as aliaison to the Er physician with regards to managed care admissions from the emergencydepartment. Maintains a high level of billing data quality and communicates with physicians andother departments effectively to minimize the hospital’s exposure to financial risk. Completespre-certification /insurance verification. Completes pre-registration in the hospital computer system. Verifies medical necessity. High School diploma or equivalent. Previous relatedexperience or hospital experience helpful. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
