Job interviews are both very important and extremely nerve wrecking.  

Many employers select their workers more on how they perform on their job interview than on their resumé. The same skills used for

effective oral presentation are used for a job interview.

There are three question types on an interview:

General questions  

Stress inducing questions

Job related questions

What is your name?

Tell me about yourself  

Do you consider yourself successful?

What experience do you have in this field?

General Questions

What do you know about this organization?

What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?  

"What are your greatest weaknesses......“

Why did you leave your last job?

Stress Inducing Questions

How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

Why do you think you would do well at this job?  

Tell me about a problem you had with a supervisor

How would you know you were successful on this job?

Why do you want to work for this organization?

What do you want to be doing in 2/5/10 years time?  

What do co-workers say about you?

What is your greatest strength?

Job related Questions

If you were hiring a person for this job, what would you look for?

Describe your work ethic.  

What do you know about this organization?

"How many weeks holiday do I get?..“
