COMPANY OVERVIEW

Experience• Experience within, or demonstrable understanding of the building materials or construction industry would be a

significant advantage but training will be provided.

• The successful candidate ideally needs to demonstrate proven skills matching the key requirements for the role as advertised.

• Computer literate (experience using standard MS Office software and customer databases).

• Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

• A self-starter who is highly organised and able to self-manage their daily workload.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The Purpose Of The JobTo estimate projects for SAS products and systems, for customers, and budget rates for SAS Sales Representatives. To represent the company in a professional manner, displaying team work and a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues. It is important to note that this is a key role within a busy, highly engaged department.

Objectives• To provide a quality service and communication between the company and the customer.

• To represent the company in a professional manner, displaying teamwork and correct attitude towards clients and colleagues.

• To identify opportunities presented for the SAS Group and maximise sales.

Main Job Tasks• Create estimates for ceilings & architectural metalwork, and ensure all estimates are dealt with promptly and

accurately.

• Liaise with sales team to ensure correct understanding of the project requirements and the customer’s needs

• Build Estimates using business pricing tools on complete projects with group costing/estimate resources

• Generate estimates and projects based on genera; assembly drawings, architectural specifications and bill of quantities.

• To be trained to estimate a wide diverse portfolio of projects.

• Ensure estimating procedures and protocols are followed.

• Liaise with the SOP technical team for any technical solutions or technical advice required.

• Gain an understanding of individual projects, its background, the external teams involved and the project overall, this will then all allow you to determine the correct levels of pricing, thus maximising sales.

• Review daily & weekly reports for estimates processed.

• Adhoc duties as assigned by Management

• Creating and updating the database in a timely manner.
