JOB TITLE: REPORTS TO: ERSEA SPECIALIST PDM COORDINATOR
CLASSIFICATION: LOCATION: EXEMPT MAIN OFFICE
DEPARTMENT: DATE PREPARED: EARLY HEAD START JULY 2014
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: None
JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to oversee Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) for Early Head Start in all counties. This position is to ensure compliance with all ERSEA Performance Standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Child Development Associate (CDA) required, Associates degree or higher in Social Work, Family Development or related field preferred.
Requires knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems along with general knowledge of policy and procedure compliance, typically gained by one to two years related experience in a lead position.
Advanced computer literacy including, database management, spreadsheet, word processing internet and e-mail.
Basic computer programs: Windows 7; Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Excellent interpretation and problem solving skills. Valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of insurance for work related driving. Individual needs to have working knowledge of the theories of basic child development,
empowerment, advocacy and family dynamics.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:1. Maintains records regarding enrollment of Early Head Start;2. Monitors attendance compliance to ensure a minimum 85% average daily attendance;3. Monitors funded enrollment compliance to ensure 100% funded enrollment throughout the
program year;

4. Maintains the wait list for all centers and prenatal program;5. Analyze, plan and implement enrollment systems needed.6. Plans and schedules Selection Criteria Committee meeting at least once a program year;7. Responsible for all eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance Performance
Standards; 8. Responsible for updating the Parent Handbook on an annual basis, receiving updates for all
program content areas;9. Responsible for data elements in Child Plus pertaining to ERSEA;10. Conducts client interviews for eligibility determination;11. Oversees all ERSEA activities to include:
a. Updating annual Service and Work Plans;b. Updating all ERSEA procedures for Performance Standards, developing new
procedures as needed; andc. Responsible for all corrective action plans for the above
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
