Summary I currently am looking for a new career opportunity where I can make a difference and profound impact while utilizing my skills, experience and education while adding tremendous value to an organization. I currently work at 3M as an Administrative Assistant and I could not ask for better management and groups to support. I have recently graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with my Masters in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Change Leadership.

I am interested in learning about all opportunities, yet I feel I would thrive in a role that can best use my strengths along with my leadership skills. A few roles that I have learned I thrive well in and have a true passion are career and leadership development along with event planning, training, marketing, recruiting, support, education, customer service, hiring, finance, meeting/office management etc. Instead of defining specific roles, what area do you need help with and I will exceed your expectations!

According the Strengths Finder 2.0, my top 5 strengths are: 1) Positivity

2) Achiever

3) Relator

4) Responsibility

5) Includer

I am a dedicated and hardworking individual. I strive to go the extra mile; I will go above and beyond expectations. Skills that have proved to be invaluable in every role is my ability to adapt quickly and I am a fast learner. I as well have a friendly and positive attitude. I can easily relate to just about anyone and have great interpersonal skills. I am excited for my future within the professional world and in gaining new experiences and learning opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

Professional Fraternity Member; Delta Sigma Pi | 2011 - 2013 (2 years) Delta Sigma Pi at Minnesota State University, Mankato, is America's foremost professional business fraternity. As an active member I held an officer position. This fraternity is organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity, and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. The Epsilon Iota chapter of Delta Sigma Pi is one of 259 chapters across the United States. There are over 250,000 brothers nationwide. The Epsilon Iota Chapter at Minnesota State University was founded on December 10, 1960. Since our founding, we have initiated over 900 total members.

Volunteer - International Student Volunteers | May 2012 - June 2012 (2 months) I was fortunate enough to travel overseas, with International Student Volunteers Program. For a few weeks, I volunteered with Wyong Shire Council in Australia. Along with my group, we worked on environmental tasks, such as rehabilitating river banks, planting and mulching in salt marshes, working in their council nursery and any other tasks they needed help with. It was an experience of a lifetime and one I will never forget. It was great to see how much we were able to get done in such a short amount of time and know that we made a difference.

3M 2014 & 2015 Employee Performance Review Comments Managers: Guy Joly, Maureen Kavanagh, Michael Determan & Jochen Stock

2014 Note Manager Comments

Jenni joined CRML in January of 2014 and has gotten up to speed quickly. Jenni is supporting both The Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives and Release Materials cluster and the Polymer Science cluster,

supporting Jochen Stock, Maureen Kavanagh and Guy Joly. Jenni manages manager calendars and sets up and coordinates meetings for cluster management. Jenni also coordinates monthly cluster meetings and has taken the initiative to set up SharePoint sites for her two clusters. Jenni has

also done a very nice job on- boarding new employees into CRML, a major task with all the new hires that have joined the lab over the past 6 months. Jenni organized the 2014 CRML/CRAL picnic which

turned out to be an excellent event. Jenni deserves the lion’s share of the credit for organizing the event and coordinating everything that had to happen to make the picnic a success. Overall, Jenni has done an excellent job in her new role and her enthusiasm and strong work ethic are

appreciated. Jenni’s quick responses to requests for assistance and her proactive approach to her job are also highly valued. Thank you for all you are doing for our labs!

2015 Note Manager Comments

Jenni had another very strong year in 2015, continuing to support both the Polymer Science cluster and the PSARM cluster. Over the year, Jenni directly supported 4 managers, Jochen Stock, Maureen Kavanagh,

Michael Determan, and Guy Joly. Jenni also stepped in and supported both the Biomaterials Cluster and the PMC cluster in the first half of the year. This additional support was especially needed due to an extended absence that left these two groups without support. Jenni’s efforts to help onboard new employees has been

very strong and is very much appreciated by the CRML management team. Jenni also stepped up and helped plan and organize a number of events this year including the PSA Symposium, the CRML Annual Bowling

Event, Outlook Learning Sessions, the West 7th Spring and Fall Cleanups and a Feed My Starving Children United Way event. Throughout the year, Jenni has been outstanding in her role and her attention to calendar

management as well as travel arrangements has been excellent. Jenni is highly organized, flexible, and able to handle ill-defined tasks. Jenni follows through on assignments and always finds a way to accomplish what

needs to get done. This ability to handle new challenges and find ways to get things done is greatly appreciated by those of us who work with Jenni. Thank you for all you do for our groups in CRML!

Pyramid of Excellence Nominations

Congratulations on being nominated for the Pyramid of Excellence! This is a tremendous honor and speaks highly of your contributions to 3M. Your nomination will be reviewed for the next Business Unit/Area level award. Thank you for all you have done!

INDIVIDUAL NOMINATION INFORMATION    Nominated By: Guy D. Joly 1-13-2015 Supervisor Comments: Please see nomination.    1. Benefits to 3M for the accomplishments of the nominee: $100,001 - $500,000

 2. OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Jenni had an outstanding year in 2014, getting off to a fantastic start to her 3M career. Jenni joined CRML in January and very quickly became effective in her role. Jenni supported both the Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives and Release Materials cluster and the Polymer Science cluster in 2014. This involved supporting Jochen Stock, Maureen Kavanagh, Michael Determan and Guy Joly. Throughout the year, Jenni effectively managed managers’ calendars, set up meetings for the management team as well as cluster-level meetings. Jenni also showed strong initiative in setting up SharePoint sites for both the PSARM and PS clusters. Another area where Jenni excelled in 2014 was in onboarding new CRML employees. Jenni’s onboarding activities involved both new full-time regular 3Mers as well as a host of Technical Aides and contract employees as well. Onboarding has truly been demanding in 2014 given all the new hiring within Jenni’s two clusters and Jenni played a critical role in getting new hires integrated into the clusters and up and running quickly. Jenni always ensured that new hires had space and a laptop and that their space was already set up for them with everything they needed to get started. Often, Jenni went the extra mile in ensuring that labs were professionally cleaned before new hires arrived. The preparation Jenni put into the onboarding process really did go a long way to making a good first impression with our new hires. In the fall of 2014, Jenni played a very valuable role in organizing phone interviews with candidates and even coordinating an on-campus interview for a candidate that could not make it to the Rapid Recruiting event. On top of her role with PSARM and PS, Jenni also provided regular support to the Performance Materials Cluster and the Biomaterials Cluster in 2014. For a variety of reasons, Jenni was often called upon to go above and beyond her role in supporting two clusters to providing support to both PMC and BM as well. This extra support included setting up meetings, ordering equipment, coordinating laboratory moves, and even helping with onboarding to support the management teams in PMC and BM.

 3. CUSTOMER AND CLIENT FOCUS (External and Internal): Jenni is results oriented and definitely a team player. Her positive attitude and ability to get results have made her a go-to resource within CRML. Quite honestly, Jenni's enthusiasm and positive attitude are second to none.    4. LEADERSHIP: Jenni led the organization of the 2014 CRML/CRAL picnic; the picnic was a great success and much of the credit goes to Jenni for organizing a planning team and being the individual most responsible for coordinating with the various vendors/caterers brought in for food and entertainment. Jenni showed strong leadership in her role overseeing the 2014 CRML/CRAL picnic and the event would not have been nearly as successful without her involvement. Jenni led the organizing committee for the event and ensured that there were sufficient volunteers to staff the event. She also made sure that these volunteers knew when and where they were needed. Jenni also did an outstanding job assisting with the 2014 Polymer Science Techconnect event; Jenni assisted in organizing the event, putting together advertisement posters and the handout for the event, ensuring that the cluster’s posters were prepared and printed on time, and also helping to organize the space in the 201 Auditorium which also involved helping put together the layout for the poster session. In addition to her role in CRML, Jenni volunteered for the NEON (New Employee Orientation Network) team, serving as a liaison between St. Paul and locations across the US as well as globally. Jenni showed leadership and tremendous initiative in her role on the NEON team. Overall, Jenni’s performance in 2014 was excellent. Her genuine enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude are remarkable.

Purgett  Input  for  Jenni  Nomination  1-‐23-‐2015

As  a  staff  scientist  (Purgett)  who  benefits  repeatedly  from  Jenni’s  efforts,  I  offer  up  the  following  comments.  Based  on  thirty  years  at  3M,  I  personally  have  never  had  a  more  satisfying  experience  with  an  administrative  staff  person.  From  the  big  picture  perspective,  Jenni  excels  based  on  a  high-‐functioning  combination  of  competence  and  attitude.  I  am  so  impressed  with  the  combination  of  what  she  does,  and  most  important,  the  manner  in  which  she  does  it.      Regarding  competence;  She  ‘gets  stuff  done’,  and  done  right,  in  a  timely  fashion.  She  combines  her  own  in-‐depth  knowledge  with  a  strong  resource  network.  Attention  to  detail  and  dependability  are  an  integral  part  of  who  she  is  as  a  person,  and  how  she  relates  to  others,  and  our  shared  objectives.      Regarding  attitude;  This  is  paramount  to  understanding  her  contribution  to  the  overall  effectiveness  and  ‘atmosphere’  associated  with  our  working  groups.  From  the  start,  there  was  no  doubt  that  she  was  unequivocally  our  advocate.  No  question  or  request  is  too  ‘dumb’,  too  complicated,  or  not  within  her  job  description.  There  is  no  pretense.  She  clearly  is  one  of  those  relatively  rare  individuals  who  manifests  a  quick  and  capable  intellect,  a  great  work  ethic,  and  a  true  &  warm  heart.  There  is  no  question  that  she  derives  satisfaction  and  joy  from  the  process  of  working  with,  and  helping  others.  She  is  a  very  big  part  of  what  keeps  this  place  both  ‘humming’  along,  as  well  as  a  much  more  pleasant  place  to  spend  our  day.  On  that  basis,  I  am  grateful  for  the  opportunity  to  acknowledge  her  contributions  by  supporting  this  nomination.

Miscellaneous Recognition Thank you, and thank you for all of your support. You are truly one of the best support staff that I’ve known. ~ Dennis Vogel

Hi Guy and Maureen, Just wanted to let you know that I recently worked with Jenni as she scheduled a trip for a candidate that will be interviewing with us in CRPL and with Jim's group in ML.
