The Trane Dealer Advertising Co-op Program is designed to help you stimulate Trane residential and light commercial product sales by sharing the cost of your qualifying advertising. This guide is intended to provide key details, but see the official guidelines for program specifics.

MAX, short for Marketing Advertising eXpress, provides everything you need to quickly create ads, submit electronic claims, and track your co-op funds. Included in this easy to use system are:1. MAX is a tool designed as a result of Trane’s response to dealer input and appreciation for a commitment to our brand, to make your co-op dollars work as hard as you do to generate leads and close sales. IntroductionThis brochure shows the basic components of the Trane Identity

Program. Detailed guidelines are available from Trane.

The Trane logo is the primary graphic element of the

identification program and is the legal trademark of Trane.

Consistent application and precise reproduction of the logo will

reinforce public awareness of Trane products and your business.

When the trademark is used properly with other elements of

the visual system, a unique style for all Trane Dealers can be

effectively established.

Typically, the trademark will be produced in Trane red Pantone

7417 on a White background. all other information, such as

Dealer’s name, address, telephone number and the like, is to

be produced in Black.

The incorrect use of the Trane trademark can cause confusion

in the customer’s mind, thereby diluting the effectiveness of

a trademark. Most times this confusion can be avoided by

carefully reviewing all printed media. ask your commercial

printer to review these guidelines before starting a project. Your

printer should show you a proof copy of all material that is to be

printed. Check the trademark, colors and other details before

approving the final design of all printed media.

Because of the need for flexibility in the printing of the Trane

logo and themeline, there are three distinct-size digital files of

the artwork for reproduction. Do not reproduce the trademark

from this publication. Download trademark images online

from ComfortSite™ or MarC or consult your Trane Sales

representative for reproducible artwork of the Trane logo.

Optional application of the logo in Trane red on a Black background with themeline dropped out to White. Trane red must be knocked out of Black background and not an overprint.

This diagram shows that you should leave an appropriate amount of space (diameter of 1 ball symbol) between the Trane logo and other information, such as product names.

The preferred Trane logo and themeline format shown is used for most media. Its consistent use provides a consistent appearance and ensures the proper relationship between the Trane symbol and logotype. The themeline should appear as shown in Black.

Proper logo usage

ColorTrane red (Pantone 7417) is the preferred color to be

used for the Trane logo. a secondary color of Pantone Warm

Gray 1 or Pantone 424 Gray may be used sparingly as an

accent graphics color.

Do not use any other color combination without consulting with

the Trane residential Systems, Tyler, Texas.

PrintingUse Trane red Pantone 7417 when printing collateral materials

such as stationery. When producing full-color promotional

materials, use the process color build of C=0%, M=85%,

Y=100%, K=0%.

advertisingDo not use the logo without the themeline. The equity of our

brand is strengthened each time a customer sees or hears

our themeline.

legal InformationTrane brand air conditioning and heating products are

manufactured by Trane residential Systems, an american

Standard Company. The word Trane is a registered Trademark

of american Standard, Inc.

Do not change the prescribed graphic relationship between the

symbol and logotype. Use the preferred logo as illustrated on

the opposite page.

Do not cramp the trademark with any other copy, such as Dealer

name, slogans, phone numbers or the like. Keep an appropriate

amount of white space around the trademark. The trademark

® should appear in the same color as the logotype.

When producing consumer promotional materials, the Trane

copyright should appear on the publication. The approved

copyright line reads:

Use the current year in copyright line for printed material.

The alternate logo format is used only in tight space situations, such as a square panel or nameplate. Do not use this format unless the preferred logo format becomes inappropriate for the situation.

Dropout of a color. The logo should always appear in White. Do not use any other color combination.

The logo and themeline in Black printed on a White background.

The themeline should never be less than 8-point type size. If design considerations dictate that the logo should be used in a size that will cause the themeline to be less than 8-point, the themeline should be set in 8-point and centered under the logo like the example above.

Correct themeline usageWhen the themeline is used with the preferred Trane logo,

the themeline must always appear on one line in the typefont

Century Schoolbook Italic. no exceptions.

For most applications, the themeline should appear visually flush with the logo as shown.

Intended to travel the world’s oceans, the 152’ Northern Marine tri-deck

Some yacht owners dream of exploring the world in their vessel. has fulfilled that dream, by recently completing a 14-month odyssey that began in South Florida and safely transported her owners, family and friends in first class surroundings to the farthest reaches of the Pacific Ocean. Her voyage included such exotic ports of call as the Galapagos Islands, Marquesas, French Polynesia,Tonga, Palau,Tinian, Fiji, Tahiti, Rangiroa, as well as Australia’s Sydney, Brisbane and Great Barrier Reef. The highlight of the voyage was the birth – in Auckland, New Zealand – of the owners’ third child. The journey then resumed, including stops at Saipan, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Hawaii and San Diego returning to Florida via the Panama Canal.

’s captain estimates the total distance of her journey at nearly 40,000 nautical miles including ocean passages of more than 3,400 nautical miles, in all kinds of weather and sea conditions. He credits the quality of her design and construction for her outstanding performance throughout the demanding cruise.

Since returning from her initial long-distance voyage, has cruised the local waters of Florida and the

Bahamas. In addition, she has summered in the waters of the northeastern United States, allowing owners and friends to enjoy her many features.
