JING Sales and Marketing Assistant

Reports to: JING Trade Marketing Manager

Overview of Role

As an expanding company in a growing sector, we are now hiring a Sales and Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and sales teams in delivering the company objectives by generating leads, organising events and managing trade marketing assets. This is a diverse role, requiring someone highly organised, proactive and commercially driven, and it’s an exciting opportunity for a marketing graduate looking to broaden their skills and bring with them innovative ideas.

Main Responsibilities

• Assisting with the production of marketing and sales materials, such as brochures, proposals, menus and other POS assets, from existing templates

• Supporting the sales team by identifying lead generation opportunities and curating prospect lists

• Helping to organise and represent the brand at events, exhibitions and seminars, both internal and external

• Monitoring industry news and competitor activity, sharing information as required with the wider team

• Managing trade newsletter distribution lists

• Owning the management of sales samples

Skills & Experience:

• High level of written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management and organisational ability

• Very proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of – and across – teams

• Excellent attention to detail and quality control

• Ability to manage priorities, work in a fast-paced environment and find solutions

• Focus on results and commercial awareness to be able to drive business outcomes

• Good knowledge of key applications including Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Education to degree level or equivalent desirable

• Shows an interest or desire in the world of tea
