Please visit our website -http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/som/admissions/md/to see our view book thatwill provide additional information about the School of Medicine.

Please carefully follow the on-line application instructions. When your application forms and letters are

received, they will be examined by the Admissions Office staff and you will be notified if additionalinformation is needed. After all required items have been received, we will send an e-mail to inform youthat your application is complete and has been sent to the Admissions Committee for review.

Applications are initially reviewed in the order in which they become complete. Because it may benecessary to re-evaluate some files before making final interview selections, decision notifications canvary from shortly after we receive the application through February, 2013. Although we would ideallylike to meet personally with all applicants to our medical school, it is simply not feasible for us tointerview every candidate. Interviews will therefore, be arranged only at the request of the AdmissionsCommittee.

Selection factors include proven academic achievement and strong personal qualities. The Admissions

Committee does not require a minimal grade point average or MCAT scores. Johns Hopkins places ahigh value on the activities, experiences, and personal qualities of applicants. Individuals who haveunusual talents, demonstrated leadership, creative abilities, and significant humanitarian experiences aresought. Finally, evidence of unequivocal commitment to medicine is an important asset: medicine is hardwork!
