About Joshua’s Heart Foundation

Joshua’s Heart Foundation (JHF) was founded in 2005 and incorporated in 2007 in Miami, Florida. They are dedicated to the fight against global hunger and poverty. JHF has two primary goals: to “Stomp out World Hunger” and to “Break the Cycle of Poverty”. JHF hosts small weekly food distributions, provide food in backpacks for children on the weekends who would otherwise have no food, host seven large food distributions annually and quarterly healthy cooking demonstrations around South Florida. JHF is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which em-powers, needy people to improve their quality of life, by providing items of basic necessities, such as groceries, and by effectively engaging and educating communit ies at home and abroad about committing to fight hunger and poverty on a global basis. JHF is a fully run youth organ izat ion dedicated to s tomping out hunger by inspiring young people to take action.

Mission

Stomp Out World Hunger

Joshua’s Heart Foundation was born out of a five year-old’s simple wish to feed the hungry. Since then, the Foundation has distributed over 650,000 pounds of food to those in need. With one in six Americans facing hunger today, there’s still plenty of work to be done. By getting involved in Joshua’s Heart Foundation, you play a vital role in fulfilling our mission.

Impact

The foundation distributes food to about 100 families in large distributions seven times per year, and small distributions to 50 families each week. JHF has distributed over 650,000 lbs. of food thus far. We hope to reach 1 million pound by December. Joshua’s Heart Foundation distributes healthy recipes, hosts cooking classes and provides educational outreach to show people what they can do to help the hungry both locally and nationally.

need in South Florida, Jamaica and Africa. 2. 160,000 Meals Served 3. Raised over $300,000 4. Over 40,000 lbs of toys, books, clothes & toiletries

distributed 5. Impacted over 30,000 people 6. Inspired young people to join, assist with the mission and

vision and give back and to date over 1,200 youths volun-teers have or is participating.

7. Junior advisory board of 47 youths from ages 6-18 actively involved in creating ideas etc. promoting and working towards JHF mission.
