JFB PTO at Work for Our Kids!

This is why we raise funds! On Monday, kindergarten students were treated to Wonders of Weather by theCincinnati Museum Center . The children explored weather phenomena with fun, hands-on activities, andinvestigated seasonal weather patterns. Then they made some snow, raced clouds, had a hair-raisingexperience with lightning, and took home jewelry with magic sun -sensing abilities! Kindergarten teacherTraci Gillespie said that a highlight of the program was when the electrical current which symbolized lightningactually traveled through a students body and made her shoes light up! How cool is that?

This program was paid for by YOUR donations to our Fall Fundraiser. The students and teachers THANK YOUfor your generosity! To see the other 21 in-school enrichment programs that are being offered this year to ourkids, check out a complete list on our website.

Help Wanted

Are you interested in becoming more involved with your childs school this year? Wehave many different ways you can help out. Some projects are quick, one-timeopportunities while others have a longer commitment. No previous experience isrequired! Please contact Shannon Russell if youd like to learn more!

PTO Membership and School Directory

Its not too late to join the PTO and get your SchoolDirectory! Just send in your $5 dues and a membershipASAP. Directories will be distributed in late October.Membership forms can be found online and at the end ofthis newsletter.

Registration periods for fall Soccer Shots, Drama, and Art have ended. Dance register in person by 10/6;Lego register online by 10/6. Empowering Girls with Confidence register online by 10/11.
