My name is Kirsten and I live with my husband, George. He works in a factory. I have a son and a daughter. Richard, my son, is 16 and Susan, my daughter, is three. Susan goes to the nursery school near our house and George takes her there every day. They can walk there as it is just around the corner. My work is in the town centre so I go there by car. Richard’s school is near to where I work so he comes with me.
My name is Nick and I live in Chester. I love tennis and every weekend I play. My wife, Lucy, doesn’t play but she likes watching it. Last weekend, Lucy and I travelled to Liverpool for a tennis competition. It only takes about an hour to get to Liverpool so we didn’t stay in a hotel. We arrived very early and there were lots of people there.
My name is Roberto and last week my friend Paulo and I went to England to learn English at a summer school. Our English lessons were in the morning and in the afternoon we visited lots of different places. Trying to listen to English people is very hard as they all speak very fast. Sometimes I asked them to repeat what they said.
