Jesus went around the whole of Galilee teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News PARISH NEWSLETTER Sunday 22nd January 2017 Catholic Schools Week: 22nd January28th January 2017. Every Catholic school is a place of faith, welcome, knowledge and care for all. It is a place that nurtures the human wholeness of each pupil and each adult within the school community. It presents the real presence of Christ in a way that everyone knows that within the school community this gift of presence is shared in a special way with everyone. The Catholic school is an inclusive environment, one which offers to all inspiration, motivation and challenge. It is a place where everyone experiences a genuine friendship that is hallmarked by affirmation, enthusiasm and encouragement. At the heart of all that is celebrated in a Catholic school is the Christian vision that every human person is uniquely created in the image and likeness of God with an inviolable dignity and that the school reiterates the core belief that, who we are is far more important than what we do. The Catholic school will always revisit how it respects and fosters faith and accompany the children and young people in their spiritual development, whoever they are and wherever they are in their search for meaning. The Catholic school, as appropriate, will ensure that the school community offers opportunities to celebrate faith, prayer, liturgy and also to experience fun, humour, imagination, creativity, sport, play and a deepening excitement for the treasured gifts of life. PARISH NEWSLETTER

Sunday 22nd January 2017

Catholic Schools Week: 22nd January—28th January 2017.

Every Catholic school is a place of faith, welcome, knowledge and care

for all. It is a place that nurtures the human wholeness of each pupil

and each adult within the school community. It presents the real

presence of Christ in a way that everyone knows that within the school

community this gift of presence is shared in a special way with

everyone.

The Catholic school is an inclusive environment, one which offers to all

inspiration, motivation and challenge. It is a place where everyone

experiences a genuine friendship that is hallmarked by affirmation,

enthusiasm and encouragement. At the heart of all that is celebrated in

a Catholic school is the Christian vision that every human person is

uniquely created in the image and likeness of God with an inviolable

dignity and that the school reiterates the core belief that, who we are is

far more important than what we do.

The Catholic school will always revisit how it respects and fosters faith

and accompany the children and young people in their spiritual

development, whoever they are and wherever they are in their search

for meaning.

The Catholic school, as appropriate, will ensure that the school

community offers opportunities to celebrate faith, prayer, liturgy and

also to experience fun, humour, imagination, creativity, sport, play and

a deepening excitement for the treasured gifts of life.
