put together in the Mendoza book in the SEGHS Library, in a Family Tree Maker 2014 File. However, MT

Grijalva says that on her Mendoza Tree: "Some of the names and dates shown have been gleaned from recorded

US Census reports. Other information shown was passed down by the grandchildren of Sabino and Augustina

and MT does not claim it to be absolute. This is a project in the works and she (And George) welcomes your

input."

George's Note. Jesus Salvador Grijalva parents are Luis Jr. Grijalva, and Teresa Mendoza, but he was raised by

his grandparents Don Luis Grijalva and Refugio Alvarado. When I was discussing this genealogy with my first

cousin Sam Sanchez he told me that Refugio Alvarado was the sister of Catarena Alvarado, married to Benito

Caballero, Sam's grandparents! Sam's mother was Juanita Caballero married to his father Antonio Sanchez.

Sam also told me that the parents of Refugio and Catarena are Jose Hilario Alvarado and Josefa Castaneda.
