John 5:1-91 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame,

paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.

Page 18: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the

water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain

man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"

Page 19: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

7 The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." 8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." 9 And immediately the man was

made well...

3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was

cleansed.

Leviticus 5:1-3        (New Century Translation)

1 "If a person is ordered to tell in court what he has seen or what he knows and he does not tell the court, he is guilty of sin. 2 "Or someone might touch something unclean, such as the dead body of an unclean wild animal or an unclean farm animal or an

unclean crawling animal. Even if he does not know that he touched it, he will still be

unclean and guilty of sin.

Page 22: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

3 "Someone might touch human uncleanness anything that makes

someone unclean and not know it. But when he learns about it, he will be guilty.

Numbers 5:1-4    (New Century Translation)

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 "Command the Israelites to send away from camp

anyone with a harmful skin disease. Send away anyone who gives off body fluid or who has become unclean by touching a

dead body. 3 "Send both men and women outside the camp so that they won’t spread the disease there, where I am

living among you.”

Page 24: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

4 So Israel obeyed the Lord’s command and sent those people outside the camp. They did just as the Lord had told Moses.

Hebrews 11:6"But without faith it is impossible to please

Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a

rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Page 26: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

Mark 11:20-2420 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the

roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away." 22 So Jesus

answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.

Page 27: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and

you will have them.

Page 28: Jesus Our Healer By Pastor Fee Soliven Matthew 8:1-4 Wednesday Evening April 15, 2015

4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Hebrews 9:11-1211 But Christ came as High Priest of the

good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not

with the blood of goatsand calves, but with His own blood He

entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Hebrews 4:14-1614 Seeing then that we have a great High

Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points

tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find

grace to help in time of need.
