Jesus’ growing years.
Jesus also lived in a family, with His
Mother and St. Joseph, the carpenter.
The three lived a simple life in a small town. A life full of
work and love for others.
Jesus, teach me to love and obey.
Joseph worked in his carpentry shop & built doors,
plows and other
implements.
Mary took care of the
two, cleaning the
house, cooking the
food and sewing their garments.
Jesus as a boy also played.
He also learned how to read and count, just like any other boy.
He also helped His Mother draw water, run errands and clean the floor.
Jesus worked well.
In that family, the most important
person was Jesus, because He was
God.
But the Gospel tells us that Jesus
obeyed His parents.
He liked to talk with His Father
God.
Jesus, I want to be good in order
to please You.
