Dear Parish Family, members, a endees, guests and seekers, Think Locally & Act Globally! We have finally made it to the last Sunday in this liturgical year. Next week we will be able to say to each other "Happy new year" as we begin the great season of Ad-vent and a new liturgical year. All around us we will be seeing sights and sounds of Christmas: Christmas songs, Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas par es and Christmas TV specials, but it's not yet Christmas! You and I are encouraged to PREPARE during ADVENT for the coming of Jesus in: HISTORY, MYSTERY , and MAJESTY. Our culture has it ALL backwards!!!! Star ng the day a er Thanksgiving on Black Fri-day, it will seem to many, that Christmas has begun! Do your best see the peri-od BEFORE December 25 as ADVENT, a me of PREPARATION. Then on Christmas Day the REAL CELEBRA-TION begins. Members of our Spanish RCIA that were Confirmed and received their First Holy Communion recently at the 6pm Liturgy! Thank you for your yes to Jesus and His Church. Congratula ons go out to Ron & Joan Labinski for being this year’s recipient of the Diocesan St. Jude Award. They will be receiving this award from Bishop Lynch, this a ernoon at the Cathedral. Here is a list of the past St. Jude Award recipients:

COMMUNITY EVANGELIZATION PROJECT Proyecto de Evangelización para la Comunidad

Youth Ministry will be hos ng a Youth Rally on December 4, 2016. One of the main focuses of our youth rally is to inform the teenagers of pos-i ve ways to share their faith. A Community Evangeliza on Project will be a central part of our youth rally. We are asking our St. Clement families to donate a pack of 2 light bulbs. The youth will than write "Jesus is the light of the world" (John 8:12) on the outside of the light bulb box. The Youth will then be separate into small teams and send into the community to hand out the light bulbs while it is s ll daylight. Please help make this community evangeliza on project possible!

Estamos pidiendo a nuestras familias de San Clemente donar un paquete de 2 bombillas. Los jóvenes escribi-rán en el exterior de la caja de la bombilla "Jesús es la luz del mundo" (Juan 8:12) . La juventud será entonces separada en pequeños equipos y enviados a la comuni-dad para entregar las bombillas durante el día. ¡Por favor, ayude a hacer posible este Proyecto de Evangeli-zación para la comunidad!
