    The Short Version

    7hat does the first techni9ue actually do.=

    ,t add a fake memory3 that change the way ou think a"out a su">ect.

,f it is of low importance for you to clean3 you can add a memory

May"e of your mother saying that3 it is important to clean.

And add an anchor that "inds the memory to an everyday thing.

Every time you do that everyday thing3 you remem"er3 when your mother told you

that it is important to clean.

    And you find yourself cleaning.

?6r at least thinking that cleaning is important.@

#he larger use for this is3 if you had a "ad childhood or may"e never had a dad3 then

you can add one or more memories.-o when you think a"out your past the memories of a dad is there.

    #he power in this is$

ou can make the memory yourself3 so you can make it specific to help change the

way ou live your life and make choices.

#he second techni9ue change a "elief3 from limiting to empowering.

#he first is "est for changing e.g. a life time of missing a dad.#he second , >ust invented 2 weeks ago3 and is "est for small corrections.

    The Short Theory

    7hy do we do3 what we do.=

    #raining or Biological.=

#here are things you have learned and there are things that are "iological.#hings like #hat you have to pee and that you are hungry are "iological and therefore

you do it3 when your "ody tells you.

But if you wash your hands after you have peeped3 #hat is something ou have

learned. And that is what you can change.

And that is what this "ook is a"out.

How did you learn these things3 and how can you change them.=

Almost everything you do3 you are doing "ecause you have learned it.

But you can add information3 to give you a new opportunity.

#his is what the advertisements is trying to do.

#hey want to convince you3 that their product is "etter than others.

#hey do this "y trying to convince you with :ata.

#his product has 2' more power than others3 in the same price range.

    6r with emotions.

, choose product A3 "ecause it makes me happy.

7hether it is logical or feelings3 they try to give you new data.

-o why does it have a limited impact.==

    Because you have may"e a 00 or may"e thousands pieces of information3 a"out a

product or a way to act.

But there is an easier way to add data.

,t is called the D4e"ruary man and is FinventedF "y Milton Erickson.

How can we add a memory3 so it has a high power.=

How do you put this memory in place3 and nail it there with +(inch nails.=

4irst we must start with how to give this memory a high priority.

Either it must "e added "y someone3 who you feel have a high value.

,f you are told "y your parents3 your doctor or priest3 then the memory has a high

value. 6r it can "e added as early as possi"le.

,f you can add a memory "efore every other memory in that area3 that memory has

    the highest value.

7hat , have found out is how to go "ack into a persons youth or childhood3 and add a

    memory.

-o the memory , add is the first or one of the first memories3 that person has on a

    su">ect.

,f a person was calm and Clear(headed he would look through his memories3 and the

Here is a short version of the first case of the use of 4e"ruary Man.

5ead the "ook of that name for the full story.

#here was once a man called Milton Erickson.Erickson was a hypnotist3 who was many years ahead of his time.

#here are many people who have written a"out Erickson3 "ecause he was a one in a

    world of Geros.

    #he stories which , focus on is a"out a techni9ue called #he 4e"ruary Man.

,t is a"out a girl who grew up with a host of pro"lems.

-he was pregnant3 and she had dou"ts whether she had the information a"out "eing a

mother3 "ecause of her own childhood.

-o Erickson hypnotiGed her over several times and added memories of a 4riend of her

father. ?Her father was not there.@

#he reason that this techni9ue is called 4e"ruary Man3 is that the friend of her father3

came "y every year in 4e"ruary at the girls "irthday.

Erickson took the girl "ack to her childhood3 adding memories that would help her

see her childhood in a "etter way.

-he then had a "etter understanding and "etter tools for "eing a good mother.
