will show colorful graphs and pie charts that represents peoples results. From these results andfindings you will notice how some people are being treated as a adult or as they were growing

up. Some people couldnt help the fact that their parents really treated them that way and they

really see. Also in this document you will see tables and graphs of the bivariate and multivariate

The pie chart from the data received on the spanking and corporal punishment survey showed

majority of the people that participated was 21 and under hitting 45.3% and the next age range who

participated was 21-24 at 42.5%. The next participants ranged in the age of 25-40 and 55 and over at

5.7%. Last and the smallest age range to participate was 41-54 coming in with the percent of .9.

Data received in this chart shows the sex of male and female who have completed the survey.

From the results we can view that more females did the survey then males. The percent of females that

participated was 59.4% while there were just 34.9 males. This also shows how females have or take out

time to see and do the survey then males.

In the race of people that completed the survey the majority was obviously black since the

survey was completed at an HBCU. It was 83% black. The next race which was white, who participated

ranked at 11.3% .5.7% of the survey takers, was other races not including black or white.

The first question on spanking and corporal punishment asked in the survey, were you

spanked, 19.8% reported to never have gotten a spanking. 17% said they frequently did. Participants

that rarely got spanked were 20.8%. The largest percentage at 36.8% reported getting spanking only

sometimes.

47.2% of the survey participants reported never getting punched. The chart also revealed that

26.4% of people who did the survey rarely got punched. While 12.3% sometimes got punched and 8.5%

of the participants frequently got punched as well. Punching a child could cause major damage to a child

because they are not fully developed.

In this pie chart it was revealed that 5.7% of the participants frequently got kicked. The never

answer choice has 51.9% of those who never were kicked. 23.6% rarely got kicked and 13.2% sometimes

were kicked. I say that I feel bad for those you have got kicked by their guardians because I dont think

you should raise your feet up in terms of kicking a child in no kind of way period.

In the survey of spanking and corporal punishment, the data found revealed that the vast

majority of participants rarely were pinched, ranking at 40.6%. 19.8% of the participants of the survey

sometimes were pinched. The other 24.5%are those who never were pinched. Not last but least, only

9.4% were frequently pinched.

50% of the participants who took the survey were never hit in the face. More data showed that

19.8% of survey participants rarely were slapped in the face and 13.3% were sometimes slapped in the

face. 11.3% were found to have frequently been slapped in the face. Being slapped in the face is way too

much of violence and can be taken as child abuse.

In this graph you will see that there are students of different age groups that have taken this

survey. These age groups consist of 21 and under, 21-24, 25-40, and 55 and over. This graph shows the

answer choices yes and no. By looking at the graph there are more people that are under 21 that has a

higher percentage than any other age group. You also will find that there are more no answers then yes

answers.

In the survey for spanking and corporal punishment who reported yes, their parents were in

their lives 25% were male and 34% were female. In answering no 13% of the females did not report

having their parents/guardian involved in their life. The 9% of male reported no because their parent

was not involved in their lives.

The question in the survey was have you ever hit your partner? With the results separated by

race 24% of blacks answered yes and 64% answered no. In the white race, 1% answered no to ever hit

their partner and 11% reported no. The black race seems to over weigh the whit every time.

In this graph, it was separated by race and the male gender of who were hit with a

belt/extension cord. In the males of the black race, 4% were never hit, 15% rarely hit 12% sometimes hit

and 3% frequently. In the male, white race only 2% reported rarely getting hit. While, 1% sometimes hit.

In this graph, the participants answers were separated by females of the black and white race. In

females of the black race, 5% reported never being hit. While 19% were rarely hit, 22% sometimes hit

and 8% were frequently hit. In the white race of females, 1% report never and rarely being hit. While 5%

reported sometimes being hit and 2% reported frequently

This graph shows the male population of black and whites who ever hit their partner. In the

black race 11% reported yes and 23% reported no. While in the white race 3% reported no. In the white

answer yes, you can see that the white males had no answer unlike black males.

The last graph shows females that hit their partner by the black and white race. As you can see

that the black females has outweighed the white females in this graph .Of those females reporting yes,

13% were black and 1% was white. In females reporting no, 41% were black and 8% were white.

Conclusion

In this document you have read and seen the tables graphs and all the percentages of

people results. Their results were taken and put together to form pie charts and bar graphs. As

you read this document you noticed that it was neat and well put together. This document

provided all the information that was possible to give feedback and develop my outcome.
