there was a frog

called

liked getting

his feet wet;

scolded him,

caught a cold!

when he looked out

drops of rain,

in the pond-

a dish of minnows

for my dinner,"

white horse-hair,

and he tied

a little wriggling

and tweaked

the toe of one

of his galoshes.

up shorter,

out of reach,

and went

on eating

his sandwich.

with a rustle

and a splash

amongst

the rushesat the side

of the pond.

the boat out again

a little way,

and dropped

in the bait.

bobbit!

jerking up his rod.

a smooth fatminnow,

the stickleback,covered

with spines!

and snapping

until he was quiteout of breath.

and dived downto the bottom

of the pond!

the trout wasso displeased

with the taste

of the mackintosh,

that in less than

half a minuteit spat

him out again;

was Mr. Jeremy's

galoshes.

bounced up

to the surface

of the water,

and the bubblesout of a soda
