Oct 2014 – Present Associate – Global Banking and Markets, HSBCWorking under Foreign Exchange Investigations Team – United Kingdom. Responsible for 30 currencies assigned to Manila Team. Investigates disputes/ queries arising from post settlements and confirmations. Analyzing root cause of the problem and ensuring the same will not occur in the future. Creating manual payments for unsettled trades. Claiming compensations for late receipt costs/ sending acceptance of cost to error parties. Communicating with corporate clients around the globe through emails, phone calls and swift messages.
April – June 2013 INTERN, ACCORD CAPITAL EQUITIES CORPORATIONPrepared weekly presentations about the different functions of the company’s departments. Studied the Philippine Stock Market as a whole; how it operates, the listed companies and the laws governing them.
